Went in for the first time on a Friday evening with my husband. We were greeted and instructed to sit where we wanted. We choose one of the booths in a little nook to the side, very cozy! I love the family feel of this restaurant with kids artwork from their visit to the restaurant adorning the walls. I especially loved the drawing by my seat.

So the cinnamon pancakes are really the best pancakes I’ve ever had. Food was phenomenal and would earn them a 5, however the customer service was a bit tenuous. Me and my guest felt the fact we were the only African Americans in the restaurant and the staff definitely made us acknowledge that with there service. We still tipped but I feel like I should’ve just paid for the food.

I came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning after hearing they recently opened. We were able to find parking right out front and were seated easily. The menu is a good size and also very reasonable price wise. I got an egg white vegetable omelet and a side of wheat bread with home fries. The portions were huge! It was good, filling and well seasoned. Our waitress was friendly and checked on us a few times while seated and refilled our coffee. The inside was nice, clean, and inviting.

Sherry’s Sunrise Diner has absolutely won my patronage! Sherry’s is a fun, quirky, yet bright and friendly atmosphere. The general feeling of “joy” is actually palpable! Waitstaff is very attentive and friendly, without being intrusive. Food is thoughtfully prepared, of good quality, very tasty, of reasonable portion sizes and plated in fun, whimsical displays and priced most reasonably for the product served.

Food took forever, my daughter got a chicken dilla. Boring and thrown together. Ruben was good .. wife had the French dip.. that was Just passable. The food was ok.. the staff seems to get overwhelmed very easy.
