Tried the Kimchi Fried Rice, Bibimbap from the Grand Central Market.. taste was good since the area was crowded we could not enjoy the food like we would have expected! the Korean Apple Soda was OK!

Their unique branding was really impressive. Waited about 30 mins to get my orders. Had a maekjuk chicken with a korean fried chicken. I enjoyed the maekjuk chicken, but fried chicken had some black chunks mixed in, as if it had been fried in old oil.

The kimchi braised pork belly was definitely a must get. Tender and blowtorched to just the right amount of char. The accompanying ban chan of kimchi, curry cabbage salad, and jjajang macaroni salad were all great complimenting side dishes. The jjajang macaroni salad was especially flavorful and had potato too. Also got the pyogo mushrooms (aka shitake) which were ok but the original flavor felt like it was missing something

It’s OK. You can get waaaay better Korean food in LA. The best part was the banchan, but you don’t get very much. I asked if I could buy more and they said no.

I tried the Korean fried chicken rice bowl. It is Korean Fried Chicken over white rice, with pickled mu radish, gochusriracha aioli, ahi verde, galbi glaze, mixed greens, cilantro. You can choose either Original Korean Fried Chicken or Spicy KFC. Quite small for the price and nothing spectacular. It was just good. The aioli and glaze were quite delicious and complimented the greens very well. The chicken was pretty basic, nothing fancy, looked and tasted like basic orange chicken- very disappointing. Good for a one time “gotta try it just to try it” type of deal. I will not go again. There are plenty of other places to try out. The whole market area is a great place to try a whole assortment of foods from all over.

I got their Korean Fried Pyogo Mushroom, and it was pretty good. Wouldn’t say the quality was worth the price, but the mushrooms had such intricate flavors with the perfect texture. The banchan that came along with it had great seasoning too but wish there were more of it and less rice!
