I have been here many times. This place has delicious food. For those who love spicy, get the white hot sauce dip with jalapeño poppers. Mmmmm delicious! This place has pool, gambling machines, a jukebox, and TV.

I went to see the Brianna Rae Band play. The music was awesome!! It’s a bit small as a venue but there was still room to dance. The food was great. I had the Friday fish special and the fish was crispy and delicious! The fries and coleslaw were good too and the price was really reasonable. The staff was friendly and efficient. I would definitely go back.

Went here yesterday and ordered wings and the wings were the size of a newborn’s pinky finger!! Definitely didn’t expect that along with a dirty cup I was served with. I use to come here over the summer and now I really don’t even miss it.

This Bar is awesome. They have excellent Burgers and Wraps. Some of my favorite people work here. Justin, Ashley, and Jessica are extremely kind. Even though finding Parking can be somewhat difficult I would Highly recommend this Neighborhood Bar.

Nice comfortable atmosphere, and drinks were good and at a reasonable price. Service has been great except for one time. Which the bartender was busy talking with customers in one area of the bar meanwhile the other customers waited 20+ minutes for refills. I would recommend and plan on still visiting.

We were looking for a good place to get fries after showing late for The Freithouse. We agreed that Shimmy’s Bar was a good option. We weren’t expecting a full meal because we are vegetarians and weren’t expecting anything outside of fries. All thanks to Ashley, she accommodated our special diet and for a better explanation , she celebrated it. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. I was astounded at how well the wraps were rolled. Around 10PM on a Friday evening and with a decent crowd forming- I am very impressed with this hospitality. Hands down this should be a menu item for Vegetarian and possibly Vegan options. Ashley has a wonderful heart and we are so grateful for a wonderful experience.
