One of the best in Miami, superb quality of fish and menu. Congratulations to the chef and team! We had an amazing Omakase experience.

Chef Shingo and his team curated a wonderful, authentic but approachable experience of the highest quality Japanese sourced seafood. Service was attentive and kind. Lastly, what an aesthetically pleasing environment. While definitely not inexpensive, you leave feeling extremely satisfied.

Gonna ruffle some feathers: Shingo is the most talented Japanese chef in Miami. He worked at both Michelin starred Omakase restaurants in Miami and headed Hiden when it got its star. Shingo is the culmination of his life’s work. From sourcing the ceramic sushi plates in the mountains of Japan to spearfishing nightly for the best tuna in Oma (the last one may or may not be true), he has placed his heart and soul into Shingo. Love this place !!

An experience that will be very hard to replicate. The food in amazing, the styling is second to none, and the service is top notch. Take your time, notice all of the wood work, watch the care the chefs take in the food prep, and enjoy.

TLDR: A decent omakase, not yet mind blowing, should improve.

This is absolutely the best omakase experience in Miami and possibly the world. The service, ambience, quality, and overall experience is out of this world.

Was part of a lucky few that got to come in on Shingo’s second night. What a treat it was! Those that know Shingo Akikuni will know he hails from the best existing omakase operations in Miami (Hiden and The Den at Azabu) and arr in for a similar type of experience. This is sorely needed in Coral Gables, where some interesting Japanese omakase have found their way here but more fusion than the traditional Japanese omakase style. The fish and seafood were spectacular, we had a freshwater eel which was unique, and the toros and uni were of the highest quality sourced directly from Toyosu and Hokkaido. A great choice of sake and wine while service also classy and understated. Great energy in a historical building of the Gables. Will return for sure!
