Really delicious! I got butter chicken with naan. Food tastes very fresh and cooked well. The portion size is great, I have a whole serving left over. The butter chicken comes with white rice. I would get the garlic naan next time instead.

This is not chicken dum biryani, which is what I requested when I ordered. Location is difficult to find because there is no entry. It’s on the side of a building and they only serve through the window. It’s NY, so I’m okay with that. They definitely need a sidewalk sign to direct new patrons to their location.

We discovered Shirley’s during the pandemic and it was an amazing. Up until the pandemic I believe they were only a catering business and they decided to do takeout to survive. The food is delicious. We have been eating Indian food for quite a few years and Shirley’s is hands down our favorite. Always fresh cooked, flavorful, plentiful and very reasonably priced.

For a restaurant to literally be a hole in the wall spot, the food is top notch & authentic. Only knock I have is that in my experience the food is not really done by the time you have it set to be done at, but the food is so good I don’t really care that much.
