Update 2021. Shively is open and thriving.. We always stop at Shively’s when riding thru. Great place to rest your road tired eyes, get a nice cold beer and maybe a burger. Pool table, darts and horse shoes out back. Staff is always friendly and welcoming.

This is true dive bar, therefore, it has great food and service. I had the ribeye steak, with sauteed mushrooms and onions and fries and toast. This was the best steak I’ve had in a while. Jordyn, the waitress was great. I may actually play some pool while I’m here.

My friends and I stopped in for an early dinner after an all day hiking trip in Yosemite. The food was delicious, the draft beers perfection, and the staff was gracious and extra attentive! Don’t be fooled by the nondescript exterior — you’ll have a wonderful meal and a great time.
