People are super nice and helpful. I love family owned business and love to support them. The service was top notch. First thing I noticed is so many Flys I was constantly waving my hand to keep Flys off my food. All the food was very salty. Fried green tomatoes were thick slices, which how i love it. The tomatoes were dropped on top of the hamburger steak and had gravy all of them to. Should have been on a separate plate. They were good besides that. Asked for gravy, onions and mushrooms. But got gravy, onions and peppers. Wasn’t good. Texas toast was dry. And to much salt in the potato salad. Also had to wait for 20 minutes for my food, but considering it was a small restaurant I think this is going to be normal. But we’ll worth the wait if the food is good. It was worth a try, even though I left feeling very unsatisfied, I’m not sure I would repeat.

The best places to eat is where you wouldn’t think. Me and the wife came across this gas station, which is only 10 minutes from the house, I been living around here since 94. You want to get that belly full with great price stop here. If you not really wanting to eat dinner but got a sweet tooth then this is definitely the place. Thier deserts would put the fanciest restaurant to shame. The German chocolate cake would make you slap yo momma 3 times. Located in Edward’s al. The best gas station food anywhere. The only thing that didn’t hit my taste buds is the Cole slaw. It’s a apple vinegar slaw not my choice but never left hungry.
