First time here and it was a great time!!! The food was absolutely amazing and the chefs were super talented. Great atmosphere and service as well. Highly recommend, but it is expensive. They charge extra if you share an entree (which is understandable)!

We had a very fun time at Shogun the other night! Our chef, DJ, was really funny and entertaining. We never had to worry about an empty drink or dirty dishes being cleaned off the table because our server handled that very well. And the food was delicious! We will definitely be coming back.

In comparison to Ninja Hibachi (Cullman location) and Benihana’s (SoCal): We had a 6 pm reservation for Valentines day- it wasn’t too packed. We came here more for my son to experience the Hibachi style cooking. The salad had a tad bit too much dressing…mushroom soup was very ok. We ordered 2 Shogun dinners (steak, chicken, and shrimp) and our son got the steak and chicken. We also had an a la cart of noodles. The Hibachi chef was entertaining and our son liked all the flames and tricks he did. Best part was the engagement of tossing chicken in his mouth. I think the food had a bit too much soy sauce for my taste and flavor wasn’t bad…but not great. Shrimp was actually pretty good. Overall the taste was pretty meh and the entertainment/service was good.

The service was great! The show at the Hibachi grill was very entertaining! The food was just ok. I’ve had much better food at other steak houses. The fried rice was mushy, my chicken was way overcooked and dry. But the scallops were delicious and cooked perfectly!

They are only getting a 1 star because they cooked my food in the back when I told them I had a seafood allergy. But the hibachi chief was very very boring. Not entertaining at all. No interaction with any of the patriots sitting at the grill. The waitress never got us refills, after we were given our soup (no flavor) and salad we didn’t see her again until time to give us our checks. The waitress lied to my husband when he requested noodles instead of rice, she informed him they were out. But after I eat I went to the restroom and seen another waitress bring out noodles to another table. Shame on her for her laziness. We all ended up with diarrhea with in hours of eating. The vegetables where still raw and hard. The fried rice had no real flavor. Neither did my steak. My son in law said his chicken was over cooked. I also asked the other patriots at our grill how they liked there’s and they all said the something. If you wanted a to go box tou had to get it your self. This was my first experiment with Shogun (have had other hibachi restaurants) and this will be my last. For the price and for being a hibachi you would expect some type of entertainment and customer service. Shame on you
