I visited Shogun Ramen on blue diamond last year, and I’ve always enjoyed the food! Now that they open on Eastern, I am so glad because it’s closer to me! I visited on the grand opening and the atmosphere, food, and service was GREAT. (As expected) they were rolling out their signature ramens and planned to release new menu items in the future which gives me more of a reason to come back. PS the signature Roman is a definite go to! Don’t miss out on the Matcha tiramisu. ✨

I thought Monta was still at this location but I still decided to try this place out. Their signature ramen is delicious, broth is very flavorful. Portion is a decent size for the price. They also have a pretty good selection of alcohol. I came by myself and ate at the bar area, the waiter as well as the cook checked on me which was pretty nice. Highly recommend for a quick dinner!

Amazing food and amazing service. Attentive staff. We sat at the bar and got to watch the chefs at work. The level and attention to detail is impeccable and the kitchen is run like a well oiled machine. The Karaage chicken has a nice twist and served with a shishito pepper as a garnish. The gyoza was perfectly cooked, juicy inside with a nice crunch on the outside. And of course, the ramen stole the show, with a broth that had so many layers and nuances of flavor that clearly took many hours to prepare. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a taste of what authentic Japanese ramen is supposed to be like. I lived in Japan for a decade, and every bite here was a taste of nostalgia.

Just ordered takeout from Shogun Ramen. Ramen was good, presentation was nice, but sadly their daikon salad was a sad panda. All daikon, little to no nori, little to no tamago, and to top it off, or rather not, no furikake. It was disheartening. Shame on you.

We wanted to try this place since it took over for Monta which doesn’t have any relations with Monta based from what the staff told me. We had their Neo tonkatsu with extra chasu. Their chasu lacked the sear flavor from other ramen places and tasted bland. We had to had fresh grated garlic to boost the flavor. I was hoping this place would be our new close/local ramen joint but have to keep looking. It will be good in a pinch but not a staple.

We drove down from St George Utah, and planned to stop by Monta Eastern, to read it was closed. So we called and they told us they rebranded. We headed over, and found they were holding a grand opening special. The new broth is excellent. We’ll come back again and again and again…and again. Highly recommended! And the chasu bun….was superb!
