The Tappenyaki chef was really personable. We had our own chef because no one else was seated with us. He was very friendly and was able to give us exactly what we wanted. The food was good because he also does it for a living. Overall the experience was good. I have no complaints. They have large portions!

Went on father’s day. Food and service was great. The filet mignon was so tender. Had reservations and my party of 8 was Sat on time. I gave 3 stars for atmosphere because the dining room felt crammed and the hibachi tables seemed so close to each other.

We’re visiting from out of town and chose this place for dinner on a Saturday night. It wasn’t terribly busy. Which was great. We were seated right away. But then it took anyone a really long time to greet us at our table. 3 different servers came up and asked us if our server had been over yet. One of them even took our drink order but never brought them to us. So finally our server greets us and says how sorry she was she got caught up with another table blah blah blah. Honestly I could care less, but no need to for any excuses. I simply said no worries and continued to give her not only our drink orders but also food orders, because it had been that long that we had waited. She finally starts bringing out our food one by one. Everything was good. Typical food and taste for this type of place. But her service was so slow we had to wait 3 separate times to flag her down for more water. At one point I contemplated getting up and just getting it myself. She took for ever to bring the bill. Shocker. I literally shoved my card at her so I didn’t waste anymore time. We were just so ready to leave at that point.

We had a great experience. Rigo was great!! Put on a great show for us and the did was cooked too perfection. We were there celebrating and it did not disappoint. Calling ahead for a reservation is definitely a must because it gets busy!! We got lucky with calling in last minute. Plan ahead for sure, just in case

We celebrated my granddaughters 17th birthday here.. the food was AAH-MAZING (this was my order..Caliente roll, Mexican Spicy roll, Crunchy roll, teriyaki chicken w/all the veggies , ginger salad, Spicy edamame, tofu soup (I think he said it’s miso) and fried rice.) I was in hog heaven . Shout out to our host JERRY and our awesome chef ANDREW.. You 2 made our time better and money well spent

Been coming here for almost 2-3 years and still is one of my favorite places to come and eat. Love the little tricks they do while they cook for you. Also love the facts that you can always have the privilege to add more ingredients to your food if you ask the chef. Food is always delicious and the waitresses are always friendly.

Had a great time at Showgun! Everything we had was good except the Gyozas. They seem like the pot wasn’t hot enough when they seared them. I had the mango lemonade and that was really good. I don’t drink but other in my party do, and they said they really like the alcoholic drinks here. I’ll let the pictures say the rest. I would definitely go here again.
