Place was definitely understaffed and having other internal issues but to be honest the service was ok, we were the only ones there and the server forgot to bring out a few things so we had to ask. But it’s fine cause they were understaffed, food was okay nothing to write home about. The place had a cool vibe though. Hope to visit once they get their stuff sorted and get up and running at full power again. Will edit my review then.

Stopped here before seeing a movie at Belcourt. Service was great and the ramen was good but they were out of a few things. The bathroom needed a bit of cleaning and I would pass on the mochi next time but I’ll definitely come back for a hot bowl of ramen for my soul. I would love to try the oxtail, hopefully they have it when I come back.

Great experience here! Best Ramen I have had in the area. Sophie was our waitress and she was kind and didn’t leave us hanging even though it was very busy. She was great. I will definitely come back anytime I am on the area! My husband, kids and myself loved our experience here.

I’m not quite sure what happened to this place. The food I got tonight was terrible and tasted like store bought ramen with two pieces of pork. Before the pandemic me and my friends would go here all the time and get the shinigami on the regular. This batch was sweet (??) with no spice, none. I’m really sad because since I’m back in Nashville, I talked this place up to my mother and she decided to treat me. I feel like I wasted her hard earned money. I will say the service is still great and the staff is friendly as ever. They started remodeling so you can’t sit inside.

We came here in 2021 and had a great experience and could not wait to come back. We came back today and feel like we went to a different restaurant. They told us it would take 20-30 mins which we thought it was weird since we are the only ones in the restaurant. Food finally came out and it was cold and tasted like plastic. My noodles were overcooked, the woodear mushroom was undercooked. I was unable to eat it due to the plastic smell and a stench I can’t explain. I was willing to pay for our bowls even if we didn’t eat it because I’ve never asked for a refund before in my life. We also asked for a side of bok choy for our son and it was unwashed with dirt still on it and that was when I decided to ask for a refund. I’m not quite sure what happened to this restaurant, but it has definitely changed.

I’m really sad to give this a poor review, maybe I came on an off-day. I came with a friend on a Tuesday around 930 pm, not very busy. I waited for a long time for my order to be taken and a very long time to get Tonkotsu ramen. I waited almost an hour for food. The one waiter working apologized for the length it took for food to come. We did not get much of any interaction from the waiter after this. I watched 2 other parties who came in and ordered after us be served food before us. When the food finally came out it was just warm, the wood ear mushrooms were not tender, noodles were lacking flavor, and the pork belly was a bit overdone for the dish. I found it to be a very average bowl. My friend never received an egg with their Ox-tail ramen and we didn’t bother to let the waiter know since we waited so long for our food. I didn’t receive a refill on water and when I went to pay the waiter was busy on their phone and made me wait to pay so they could finish what they were doing. I had to reach across the counter and take my card back since they got up and left while I paid. The waiter would also left tables to be cleaned up long after other guests had finished eating and left. Not very sanitary for other people around and doesn’t create a very appealing atmosphere. Last final comment I have is that the bathroom had no soap and no paper towels/dryer. I would not recommend this place to anyone if there’s poor service at certain hours even if it’s a 24/7 location.

I was extremely disappointed. I tried this same restaurant in Las Vegas and was so happy to see it was also in Nashville. The workers were nice, however, the food just didn’t live up to the expectation I had when I tried it the first time. I wish I would’ve had somewhere else in Nashville. I don’t plan to come back, unfortunately.

The food was very good! Came here with my husband after just looking for a new place to try. The ramen was very delicious, my husband had the special with was ultra instinct and I had da oxtail. If you want some yummy food definitely worth stopping by, prices are great and it’s quite a bit of food. (The ultra instinct has the blue broth)

It will shokk-u how bad this place is. See the other reviews for consistency. The service was absolutely TERRIBLE, the atmosphere was dead, and the menus, tables (wobbly) and seats were covered in food. At this point, we REALLY should’ve left, but we were starving and wanted to give it the benefit of the already looming doubt. After waiting 10 minutes to receive menus and another 20 minutes to order, we then waited an additional 45 minutes for a gyoza appetizer that came out hard and cold. Our noodle bowls came less than 2 minutes later and were room temperature and bland. The chicken was chewy/not fresh/not cooked to order and the add-ins were meh. The waiter told us that the kitchen staff shift had changed during our meal prep and that’s why things weren’t right… HUH???
