When you walk in there’s a line to the counter. You place your order and pay before you sit down to eat, it’s a little unorthodox but it works. My wife and I orderer the 50/50 roll and the i-scream roll, both were amazing!! Sushi is one of those things where it’s either great or it’s not, happy to say we lucked out finding this place since we’re not from Stockton. Would not pass up ShoMi if you’re in the area.

I have to say I was very disappointed with the the customer service, no one was friendly , no one smiled , and YES even though they are masked, you can still tell when someone is smiling or even enthusiastic to help, this is SOOO NOT the case here… when I asked my waitress what she recommended , she knew nothing about the menu…

I do not recommend this place they have sushi that taste the same w/different names. Teriyaki taste like regular Chinese food & personally it’s nothing fancy about the bento box. I cook on a daily & for me…this isn’t it. Imitation crab meat for all sushi & it taste like Safeway. That is $90 I can’t get back. But thank you for your service. It’s fast service and very clean inside.
