The service was great. However, they never have a good soup it is always about the same, the main courses are dried out and the bread was stale, the peaches were hard. We gave it three chances on different nights and it never got better so NO we will NOT be coming back and we will not recommend it to anyone

This place starts off bad with the waitress doing nothing at the counter when I came in and tells me to get my own silverware off the podium and go to the buffet. So on her way by she drops off my bill and I hadn’t even sat down to eat. So then the food at the buffet is disgusting the eggs were very wet, the French toast and French toast sticks were very dry and hard. So I decide to try the grits and it was a big mistake. The biscuits looked ok but were doughy in the middle. I finally get a cup of coffee from this waitress and needed a refill so I said put it in a Togo cup so I can leave. She continues to go over and clean tables and says once I get these tables cleaned. So I’m waiting and then she sees people headed to the register and says I need to check out these people first so I’m waiting again. Finally she’s going to get my coffee and pours the very end of the pot into the cup and I see her topping it off with water. So I said why did you fill it with water. She denies it and says she was cleaning the cup. I said I saw you do it. So I say get the manager and she says she manages the front I said you’re the manager and she wouldn’t answer so I asked again and she says I’ll get your coffee. I said get the manager too. She goes into the back and comes out with the coffee and no manager. Finally she gets the manager and I start telling the manager what I experienced and all of a sudden the waitress won’t leave the table so I said you didn’t want any parts of me earlier so you can go now. So she’s circling the table trying to listen in. The manager was nice and adjusted my bill but it wasn’t nearly enough considering the bad service and bad food they had. This was the worst waitress I’ve ever encountered in my life. I don’t know why she still has a job there.

My bf and I came here after hiking at ohiopyle st pk! Everything was really good, fresh, and our waitress was really nice and attentive. 4 stars because some of the food was basically empty when we got here. But as dinner rush started to come they started to bring out a lot more food! We’ll definitely be back

I never leave reviews but I had to for this. We had a party of six. Waitress was great but the food was terrible. We ordered 2 steaks and asked for medium rare but got them and they were well done and a very cheap cut of steak which made it like a pot roast texture. Two children got spaghetti that was flavorless. Baked potato had spoiled sour cream on it. We got two sides of broccoli and it wasn’t even cooked. All six of us said this was the worst dinner we have ever had. One fork came with a side of long hair tangled around it. Never will eat were again.

Restaurant was clean and attractive. Waitress was courteous. Told employee the bacon was fried to a crisp and was told “that’s how we do it here”. Lifted soup lid to see what kind it was and it was laying in the pot so thick I had to stir it and then saw what I think was chili. Not sure if it was. Hate to complain but this is exactly what occurred. Also, the sliced peaches were like they were half frozen—were like chewing celery.

They were really pushy for my party and I to eat the buffet. Almost like the cook didn’t want to cook. I would not ever go back there. I didn’t go to eat to be pushed to eat what they wanted me to eat. Stay far away from this pushy place. I would give zero stars if possible! I love how the owner puts basically the same response on all bad comments. The owner apparently doesn’t care at all about customer service or the integrity of their business.

I always enjoy their buffet. The restaurant is always clean. The staff is always friendly. Today I met the manager Nick. He was working at the buffet. He was checking the food temps, adding food items and making sure the counter was clean. I had another good experience. I would recommend giving this Shoney’s a visit.

Decent place for a bite. Their soft opening was a bit unorganized. However, none of the front of house chaos takes away from the very real quality of the food. Looking forward to them being able to open back up. Hopefully, they hit the ground running. I almost forgot…my server, Jessica was amazing.
