I had the buffet on a Sunday before the rush crowd and it was pretty mediocre. I was noticing a lot of Sweetness in uncommon dishes like green beans. They were friendly and Drew a pretty good size crowd. I could tell they were regulars and they enjoyed Shoney’s.

Service was pretty good and recommend at least a try once, had baked spaghetti which was delicious. Buffet looked like it was kept well supplied, they had decent selection. Only disappointed that the milkshakes weren’t as thick as I like but overall a good place to eat.

I really need to give up going here. I stopped by very early, as I usually do when I’m passing through the area. It was first thing in the morning. It seems I was the first customer. However, the food was stale. The restaurant smelled awkward too. The staff was polite. I just don’t see how they are still open though to be honest. Also, they had a B rating. I hope they can improve because I have fond memories saying here as a child.

Way too expensive for warm food. 🙁 We all were convinced that food poisoning could be a good possibility. But thankfully we were fine. The food was good. But it was definitely not hot. And I had no idea how much the buffet cost until after we got the bill.

Great food bar. Actually reminded me of my Mother’s cooking while I was growing up. We were there right after the lunch rush and apparently the corn on the cob didn’t go over as well as planned. That left an abundance on the bar and it started looking a little worse for the wear. Other than that, everything I tasted was great. Service was professional as well.

It has been a long time since I have seen a Shoney’s. I’ve long admired their breakfast buffet. We had lunch and the salmon was very good. The bathrooms could use some attention. Wait staff is friendly and helpful. Lunch buffet was as expected. Salad was pretty good. All in all a satisfactory meal.
