The scallops lived up to their reputation as one of the popular dishes! The most tender I have ever eaten, in fact, they almost melted in my mouth. They were seasoned with perfection. An extremely generous amount, along with fried rice, and chopped vegetables, there was plenty for two! Impeccable service. I will definitely return!!!

DELICIOUS! Teriyaki bowls and combination plates are so so good and plenty of food. Their yum yum sauce is some of the best! (Pictured is the bowl. It doesn’t actually come with the vegetables, I stole some from my husband’s plate)

Mom and pop’s restaurant. The food was good. Portion is good. A little pricey but great overall. I got the Eddie’s Special. It came with chicken & beef stir fried with some onions, cabbage. The sauce is teriyaki based and delicious. Side salad with ginger based dressing.

Definitely not fine dining but a good spot for quick, inexpensive Japanese food. We were disappointed to find that they do not offer sushi, and all of the meals that we ordered had a bit too much sauce. The flavor was pretty good, however, and the service was okay. If we lived closer, we might eat there again, but it’s a bit of a drive for us, and Hoover has several Japanese restaurants that provide a better experience.

The dumplings were excellent and certainly authentic! The scallops were cooked just right, tender and seasoned perfectly. We had the Eddies Special as well and it certainly earned its reputation as a favorite. Good food, fast and friendly service & reasonable prices. Great place to take your family and friends for a special occasion!
