We stopped in by chance as we went through town, and what a great find! We were feeling road-weary after driving in rain all day, and the food was just what we needed, delicious and colorfully cheerful. Service was good, too. My husband had the shrimp skewer, and I had the fish taco trio. Would return if we are ever in Chillicothe again!

My second time, and just as good, I’ll drive miles out of the way to come back! The potato pancakes were perfect; crisp outside, hot inside, enough sour cream and chives to enhance without overwhelming, really a meal by themselves. The Reuben Dip was recommended and did not disappoint. Perfectly toasted rye bread (I don’t know where they get the butter but the taste came through and I need more of THAT in my life!) accompanied a deconstructed Reuben filling which was a deliciously balanced combination of corned beef, kraut, sauce and melty swiss, yum! I chose the key lime pie for dessert and it was one of the best I’ve ever had, light AND flavorful. Nice, varied selection of beer, cider, and craft cocktails. Highly recommend 🙂

It was great— not great for downtown Chicago, great for in the middle of a Missouri cornfield. We’ve been driving between Nebraska & St. Louis this year; this time we decided to stop in Chillicothe, population, 9106 as of 2020.

Gorgeous building inside and out! Food was good. Server seemed to be the only one, so she was running a bit ragged. Almost made you feel bad to ask for something because she was working her tail off to keep the tables covered. Made a quick stop on our way through town — wished we could have stayed longer for drinks. They have margarita flights!

They don’t fry anything. It’s wonderful. They were a little short staffed for our group but we came in an odd time and may have had a little bit more people than we had planned. Our waitress was very sweet and the bartender was very informative and nice.
