Easily in the top 5 meals of my entire life. Shrimp Flavours is an absolute gem in downtown Ypsi and I will now recommend it to every single person I encounter. As soon as we got out of the car, we were enveloped in the amazing smells. We ordered masala fries to start, followed by the special lamb curry, butter chicken, and garlic naan. The fries came out hot, crispy, and well seasoned. The garlic naan was freshly made, covered in garlic, and possibly the softest thing I’ve ever eaten. The spices and flavor in the lamb curry was simply phenomenal. And I don’t even know where to start trying to tell you all about the butter chicken. I could eat it every day for the rest of my life. Sitting here writing this review, my mouth is watering all over again. The staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly. Hands down the most delicious food I’ve had in Michigan by a mile!

This is some of the best Indian curry I’ve ever had. Service is always super polite and the food comes out every time really quickly. This time I got the specialty lamb curry, and my partner got the specialty chicken curry. We split an order of garlic naan to go with. It was incredibly delicious with just the right amount of spice to it all. I love coming here, it’s quickly become my favorite place to get Indian curry.

Sometimes you get to discover something or slide in at the very start or happen upon the ‘next big thing’. I was lucky enough to get to have this amazing dining experience before everyone that loves Indian food finds out that it’s here. The customer service, that hard to beat casual but refined atmosphere and simply some of the best prepared, flavor balanced, filling and flat out tastiest food I’ve had in a very long time. I first must start with how wholesome the Atmosphere was at Shrimp Flavours Indian cuisine. If you want to have a taste of mother India, this {is} the place to go to. the Service was the best i have seen in years and the Food gave me nostalgia of coming home to the smell of spices and music being played as dinner was being prepared to be platted on the table. the host was very kind and spoke with respect, carrying himself with confidence yet was humble. the man who was at the counter, he was lively and had a feeling of happiness just coming off him. I Recommend this establishment with friends or family even both. you have to try it to understand how good it really is. a true Diamond in Ypsilanti.

I haven’t been to many Indian restaurants in the area, but after only one visit, Shrimp Flavours Indian cuisine is already high on my list. The Chicken Korma was delicious and came out pretty fast, the staff was friendly, and the decor was quite pleasant, with lively Bollywood music videos being played on TV. I will definitely be returning and trying many more items on their menu.

Finding a halal restaurant in Ypsilanti is a little difficult, thankfully I found this place and gave it a try. They are extremely affordable and tastes so good! Customer service is amazing too, I was greeted and was able to take my time ordering as asking questions without feeling rushed. Me and my friend loved it so much! Highly recommend!
