We decided to try something new for dinner and this place popped up in google search. We love seafood and bonus when it’s Cajun! The food did not disappoint! The service was a little slow but it was a Wednesday. You can totally tell this is a local hangout because the staff seemed to know each customer that walked in.

First time here and I have to say I am surprised how good the food is here. Everything from Oysters to chicken fried stakes. The food is just good. Oh and uh, good service as well, girl with the purple hair, she’s awesome, one woman show. Ask for her. 4 stars because it’s smoking in the patio.

I must say. The first time I had this place we DoorDash a pick up and we had po boys. They were amazing. This past weekend a buddy and I went there to eat in person because eating at a restaurant should be better right? Unfortunately it was an utter disappointment. The server was great until I stated that the food was extremely bland. Their response was “I know that’s why we put seasonings in the bucket on the table”. This actually blew my mind because food should come out of the kitchen already flavored. The customer shouldn’t have to put salt in their food so it actually has flavor. She was helping so many people and I give her service a 5* because she’s not in the kitchen cooking. The food I give a 1*. I will not be back. Between the both of us we spent around 120$ we ordered multiple foods so we can try a little bit of each. I had high hopes based off of our DoorDash pickup. Sad day it was.

Kelsey was a great bartender. Very thoughtful and great service. I also noticed great teamwork behind the scenes. Being a lifelong server I understand how important it is to have coworkers get your back. Had the fried catfish and she shrimp n crab shuck puppies. I’m telling ya those puppies are amazing.

Arrive about 8.45 at 9.10 we still have not been acknowledged and several workers eyes caught us in passing. We had other customers there that was wondering why we had not been waited on. By the way im black and felt very disrespected, never have we been treated with such neglect.
