If you have not tried Shuckers for brunch, you are truly missing out. We had the shrimp and grits, chicken & waffle pizza, the spicy blood mary and the caramel apple mimosa. Everything was beyong delicious!! This was our first time for brunch, but it DEFINITELY will not be our last.

Super selection of fresh seafood! Daily features & fully stocked lounge area. Nice and clean ambiance. Close to interstate and route 60. Gasoline close by and other shopping along the same street area. Plenty of parking in back. Handicap parking in front area. Owners are kind and very humble. Working all the time! With 4 of us dining we had quite a lot of food come to the table. With that being said, it was all wonderful especially the deep fried scallops. They were perfection on a plate. Order an extra serving of the jerk shrimp appetizer because once you taste them one order is not enough. The scampi pizza was amazing also. Along with the fried corn.

They have no food. We came for the first time after just moving to the area. We will not be back! They did not have any of the food we ordered and even the sweet tea was out. We had to wait for 5 min just for forks after getting sald. I askes about a dicount and they laughed at us. We will not be returning.

Took my family there for dinner. Ordered fried oyster dinners. We were supposed to have salads. We asked the waiter about them after he brought the ouster and told him at that pointvwecdid not want them. We have eaten there before, and the fried oysters have been great. This time, the oysters were not as large or as crisp on the outside. My wife ordered a Shuckerita, and she was disappointed with it. Didn’t seem to have any alcohol in it. When the check came, I had to ask if there was a discount for no salads. The waiter had to go back to change that. We probably won’t go back. I have since been told that the ownership has changed.

The restaurant was not crowded, about 1/3 of the tables were unoccupied. It took 1.5 hours to get our food for two people. We didn’t order anything fancy either, just fish and chips and shrimp and fries. The waiter told us it usually takes about an hour to get the food because there’s a small kitchen. While that may be true, the owners need to consider expanding the kitchen (especially since this is not a new restaurant so they’ve had the time), because a 1.5 hour wait for two meals of something that should have just needed fried is absurd, especially for a non-busy night! We could’ve cooked it faster at home and we don’t have everything prepped. As someone who has worked in restaurants I know it is routine to pre-bread fried food and I’m sure the fries had already been cut. After all that wait, the food was pretty good, but the okra and fries were burnt. The entrees were good, but no where near worth an hour and a half wait. Other people who were here left while waiting because of the wait.
