Met some friends here and right before they got here. The live music started, and when they got there, we couldn’t even hear because the music was so loud. As we looked over the menu, the prices were so high, we did, however, order the Hangover Fries, and they were very good.

My first time visiting the Shuckin’ Shack. I had a good time and enjoyed my food. I ordered oysters and my wife even ate them (her first time) which was a big deal. The service was good, could have been a bit more attentive, but we were not the only patron there. The price point was fair, especially if you go on a night that has a special you would enjoy. The menu has food for everyone and the oysters are fantastic. Give it a try.

This is the third time I’ve been there the first 2 times was very pleasant enjoyed it quite a bit… I started out with oysters from Texas when they brought the oysters to me they actually smelt bad very very fishy…. I love raw oysters but not ones that smell overwhelming… The music was crazy loud I could not even hear my wife talk across the table…. Love live music but way too loud Could not have a conversation… I was very disappointed…. My wife ordered A drink from the bar could not drink it it was so strong… Something has obviously changed in the last couple of months it was like day and night from the first time I went the second time I went to this time… I will not be back

I’ve driven by several times but never visited and this was my first time. Sports bar type feel with many TV’s playing with several sports playing, a garage type door in the front that opens up into a bar, very unique and great for winters here. Arrived on a Sunday and it was moderately busy and we sat at the bar and was welcomed by a friendly blonde waitress who was great. Ordered Bloody Mary’s and they were delicious with Old Bay seasoning on the rim, different…could use more horseradish though. Both of us ordered the fish and chips, and the portion was a little small, especially the fries. Fish was very good but the fries were almost cold. Looks like they cooked the fries first, let them sit then cooked the fish, it should be reversed since the fish can hold the temperature longer. Great place and we will be back.

Our waitress was great, our drinks stayed full. The kitchen wasn’t on top of things, my huspuppies were burnt but not done on the inside, the food had no seasoning on it,the fries were really good though. I’d try it again at some point but for 100+ bill I’d like a place where I don’t have to send my food back.

Julia (our bartender) was EXCEPTIONAL! Order so many different drinks and she nailed every single one! Food was terrific and even though the kitchen was about to close, they were all still super friendly – felt like home! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
