Very friendly Mom – Pop family own restaurant. I had the CRAWFISH , SHRIMP & another day the shrimp, cheese & French fries. Prices are very reasonable. Very delicious. Very ckean6. Very friendly. You will not be disappointed.

Friendly service well seasoned! Not enough food for your money! My mom and I ordered a half oyster half shrimp poboy and a fry . I wish I could post the pic it literally looked like it had about 3 crumpled up overcooked oysters spread out and about 6 shrimp on a 12″.The fry was barely enough to feed my 4yr old.We will not be going back! I never write reviews I had to on this one! I will say this though Perfect name because that’s exactly what I said when I got home thinking I was going to enjoy my food “SHUCKS” for buying this!

My boyfriend and I live right around the corner and have already eaten here 3 times since it’s recent grand opening. The employees are extremely kind, and the food is amazing!! The oysters are the freshest I’ve had in the city, and the crawfish have the best spicy flavor. The thin catfish platter and all of the poboys are also very tasty and fried to perfection. We have made this our regular Saturday after-work date, and we are so happy to have a locally-owned little spot like this close by. Give them a try! You will not be disappointed.

Very friendly and courteous employees. Got the fish and shrimp platter with fries… awesome. Love the way the french fries was shaped. My barber told me about the restaurant. Did not know they where there and open even though I live only several blocks away. About to get off from work and head there now.

Grand Opening was recently & I decided to try it today. Was not disappointed with the wings & fries! Will have to try more items on the menu as time goes by. This restaurant is replacing a Algiers point favorite (John’s Seafood) so the bar will be set high. Hope big success for shucks
