Everything was really good but the bean + beet board was INCREDIBLE. The garlic and white bean was my favorite but they were all so yummy. Cocktails were nice and unique (we got the Moxie and Kiss Me In The Rose Garden) and the wine list looked really good, though I didn’t partake. Also recommend the Le Central sandwich. Got the famous almond cake to go since we were so full—I expect it’s excellent as well. we’ll definitely eat here again if we’re ever in Colorado Springs. My favorite dinner in quite a while.

We made reservations and dined at Shuga’s on the last night of our stay in Colorado Springs, and we were glad that we saved one of the best dinners for last!

GREAT EXPERIENCE – Don’t Miss. We have eaten here several times while visiting our daughter who lives in the Springs! From the moment you walk in you feel a tremendous sense of hospitality almost like you are in your own home. The staff has always been kind and knowledgable, the food is wonderful and a great value and the cocktails are fantastic. All the food is excellent and hard to make a decision on what to order and we love the Shuga’s “Favorite Cafe Tray” with a sampling of items across the menu.

What a cool place for lunch. We sat in the yurt and it was raining cats and dogs, but the smell was marvelous? The only reason for the 4 stars on food is the fact that the only menu was a weekend brunch which was limited, and they were out of french toast. The coconut shrimp soup was the best part of the meal

This is our home away from home. We always feel welcomed, cared for and well fed at Shugas. The cocktails are some of the best anywhere and we can always find a spot to tuck in with friends or a seat at the bar to enjoy soup with a book. Simply put – the best people with the best place around.

The food was really good! And the inside was also really really cute and made the experience even better. I just wish the sandwich was a bit bigger; it didn’t really fill me up. Mine was the Cuban sandwich and the other one was the spicy coconut something soup (which seemed very nicely portioned). If I lived in town I would def go again!

Da Ciao
A locally-owned, locally-sourced neighborhood restaurant, currently an unknown treasure to the tourists. Using the freshest ingredients for both food and beverages. Impressive mixed drink list. Of all things, make reservations, otherwise sit at the bar.

Found this place online while searching for breakfast/brunch restaurants. We decided to make a reservation for brunch today, Sunday, and I’m glad we did since they were quite busy.

Enjoyed a delicious brunch in the yurt! The drinks here are absolutely delicious, I started with the mojito and truly enjoyed the freshed mulled mint! Had the picnic board and my stand out favorite on this board was definitely the mint cucumber! I loved the varying flavors in this one element. I also really enjoyed the bruschetta spread. The salmon and caper bruschetta is always my favorite. Followed closely by the brie and apple. The spicy shrimp soup is a great fit for summer time and I really enjoyed the black sesame seed and cilantro that adds a lot of body to this cup of soup. I almost alway have the salad nicoise when im here for lunch and it’s just because it’s the most well built salad I’ve found in the springs. I love the complexity of the dressing and the house smoked salmon is so good!

Shugas is Surprisingly Good, better than expected. Atmosphere was Great, the Staff was Friendly & Very Helpful. Menu Selection is Good Sized and The Food is Excellent with Perfect Portion Sizes. They do Serve Alcohol both Wine and Beer along with Coke Products and Water. The Menu changes between Lunch & Dinner, and Depending on Supplies. Even other Patrons are Very Nice. You can Eat Inside or Outside.
