Delicious! I was in desperate need of some comfort food and they didn’t disappoint. Sweet tea was perfect and smooth (iykyk). I ordered the smothered chicken with our waitress’ recommendation. Oh. My goodness. It was fall-off-the-bone tender, full of flavor, juicy, and paired with a gravy that had just a little kick to it to keep things interesting. The red beans and rice is the perfect side to pair with this–get that gravy loaded onto the rice. The beans had bits of meat (assumed pork) and lots of flavor. Mac and cheese because comfort food.

10/10 The staff is so kind and welcoming. The environment is clean and the decor is warm and soulful. The food is absolutely amazing. I’m so happy I found this gem. I can’t get enough. My favorite is the smothered pork chop, cabbage, and red beans and rice. You won’t regret it.

Everything I’ve had here is amazing here and the staff are so friendly, welcoming, and helpful! This place is a new fave for me! The fried catfish, the fried chicken, fried okra, fried pickles, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans w/turkey (these were so good that I also *had* to eat the broth at the bottom – omgsh so yummy!!), mac and cheese, baked yams, the sweet potato pie, and the peach cobbler – this is now my favorite comfort food spot in the Omaha area – definitely will be back again soon!

Very welcoming staff and amazing service, they can become very busy, but they make sure you are taken care of. Food is delicious. I had the catfish and hubby had chicken. They have kool-aid of the day and sweet tea.

This is my new favorite soul food place!! They’re so nice and the food is amazing. The fried chicken is literally 10/10! I definitely recommend this place. Everything on the menu sounded good. I got the smothered chicken and the gravy was fenomenal!!!

Food is fresh and delicious. Had fried pickles-batter is light and crunchy; fried chicken was juicy and tender; cornbread was sweet and moist, I think you get the point. Service is friendly and attentive. It is such a gem in Bellevue, go there now!! 10/10 recommend this place.
