Just moved to Newport News and multiple neighbors suggested this place for dinner. Having grown up in California, I’m extremely weary of East Coast Mexican restaurants but this place was AMAZING. The prices were excellent and food tasted super fresh! Chips and salsa as soon as you’re seated and the service was quick and attentive. I got the combo meal with a taco and chile relleno, the chile relleno was some of the best I’ve ever had.

The service and the atmosphere are amazing.The food!!! oMG was sooo flavorful.Edgar was our waiter, he made sure my allergies where noted and recognized and when he took a break he made sure we were covered!! This place deserves ALL the glory, the ambience is great, family friendly. The have a good selection of cocktails. If you need recommendations please order their Mexican style guacamole, it’s table side guacamole, as fresh as it gets. Their Quesabirria is packed with flavor.

Checked out this place for the 1st time & they have good food. Pretty much tastes like Plaza & Juans. I’m giving 4 stars only because their rice wasn’t as good as the other Mexican restaurants, & I usually love the Mexican rice. Si Senor’s rice was bland & dry. They must use a different vendor for their rice. But with that said it was fine once I mixed it w/the beans, Chicken & Chorizo. By itself it wasn’t good. Definitely not a reason to skip a visit here. Come check them out & judge for yourself. My husband really enjoyed this place & I’m sure we will return.

First time here and definitely one of the best places I have been for food. Atmosphere, food, drinks, service, and their salsa were all very good. I like the size of the place too. The only thing I would recommend is slightly bigger portion sizes. Normally I have enough to take home for left offers and I had just enough with chips and salsa and my food to fill up. Prices are reasonable as well.

Fresh, fast service and tasty! We just recently celebrated my son’s Birthday here. The waitress was welcoming, polite and attentive! It’s a bit small inside but decorated nicely, love the plants and the food was very good! Thank you!

First time visiting. We were very impressed with the warm welcome and the festive holiday decor. Edgar was our waiter and he did a fantastic job making us feel important. The salsa was really good and had a nice spice. The house margaritas were some of the best we have had in the area. The food we selected was truly outstanding: Chicken Poblano Mole and Chicken Chilaquiles. Thank you for a wonderful lunch, we will be back for sure.

My wife and myself invited our friends and their two young sons for Saturday lunch and choose Si Senor Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere was really nice and relaxing and staff was attentive and welcoming. That set the mood for the experience we enjoyed. The food was served hot and amazing with great portions. Everyone within our party was full and very satisfied and raved to others about our experience. We also ordered additional food to go for one that couldn’t join us and ourselves. My wife recommends the shrimp taco salad. I really enjoyed my faitus with chicken, beef and shrimp! Go and take loved ones pricing is affordable and you too will enjoy it.
