Small place with decent service. Food was fairly priced, but I’ve had bigger portions elsewhere. We ordered the pad see ew and fried catfish with coconut curry and it was delicious. I like spice, but I ordered no spice for my kid. Pad see ew was as ordered, but catfish was spicy. From reading other reviews, they seem to have an issue getting the orders completely correct……..and I would have to agree with that. Outside of that, I have no complaints.

Hands down best Thai food in Metro Detroit! Their gai tom kha is to die for! Staff is welcoming and friendly. Never had a dish I didn’t like. All their Thai curries are extremely tasty and authentic. For the uninitiated, I’d recommend mild. They are serious about their spice! The prices are pretty cheap too.

Ordered pad Thai. Food was fast/hot, Flavor was good. Noodles were very very oily- the only drawback. Keep in mind spice level is a little higher here compared to other Thai restaurants around when you are ordering.

Fast food and very nice people. I got drunken noodles and pad Thai which came out to $25 so I’d say $$ but it was a very good portion. Sauces were a little greasy otherwise fairly good

Context on my rating: 80% is decent. I give this restaurant that because they keep me coming back for their one dish and I haven’t had any bad interactions. I usually look into restaurants that are 4.3+, have unique food, and a fun vibe.

I pretty much only get carry out from here, The dining area is newly remodeled and nice however. I love the food. The spice level is definitely higher than any other place around. Their mild is actually still pretty hot to the average user. I love spicy food and at any restaurant I go to I always order HOT, but from here I order medium and am quite satisfied with the amount of spice. As other users have stated, mild will be much too spicy for someone who doesn’t care for spicy food. No spice is ordered as “no spice” and they will make it that way if requested. My friends who have done so have found the food to be a little bland at that point. If you don’t like spice, then maybe Thai food is not for you. I have had a bit of consistency issues, not in quality but more in presentation. I believe the day cook might be different from the night cook. I get carry-out from here as often as 5x per month. The service is excellent and they know me by name now. I think it must be family owned and the ladies who work there are always very nice.

Went here for lunch and to be fair it was just average to me. The soup that came with the meal had way too much pepper in it, but was tasty none the less. I ordered Pad Thai and asked for it to be medium spicy. It felt like there was no spice at all when i got it, and was a bit disappointed. Again the food was delicious but really did not make me feel it was worth more than 3 stars.

Have driven by Siam Spicy for years and finally stopped in for lunch today. I had pineapple fried rice and my son had curry fried rice. We both had chicken.

A classic, delicious Thai restaurant. Their Pad Thai is one of the best I’ve ever had, and their portions are enormous- I always have enough to take home for another meal. Their Thai iced tea is also very yummy. Interior is nice (not what you would assume from looking at the outside) and service is always good.

The soup they give you with the rice and green onions was phenomenal! Definitely not for the average person who cant handle or enjoy heat in their food (my fiance would never be able to eat here, he doesn’t too much care for spicy food). I also had the drunken rice – medium – and it was very, very spicy but didn’t bother me. My only suggestion would be to order lower heat level and add to it with their salsa if needed. Rather surprised by all the negative reviews, Thai food is hotter than most Asian dishes so understanding different cooks heat levels is a given and I would not see that as a reason for a negative review. I would definitely eat here again, the staff also couldn’t have been nicer!
