Gianni treated us well. Best meal in San Diego. The ambiance is fun, and food is authentic. We had the pizza, lasagna and pistachio cheesecake. The house limoncello to finish is perfection! You must come to this neighborhood restaurant.

The food was great, not the best I have ever had but would definitely go back again. Starting with the complimentary bread, pesto, and marinara was tasty. Most of their wines are sold by the bottle not the glass which is a bit of a bummer to not have more options. The restaurant is gorgeous but they need to do something about the flies since they have the doors open. The service was great until they dropped off our food. It was hard to get the attention of the service when needed some additional items and wanted to order another round and then a digestif.

Prosciutto and burrata appetizer was delicious! Nutella cheesecake was amazing. Owner Giovanni (pictured) is solicitous and friendly and loves to converse in Italian with you. Our server, Flavio, was attentive and knowledgeable. Great service. Popular place with a lively atmosphere.

Phenomenal restaurant, one of the better meals I’ve had at an Italian restaurant in the US. I lived in Italy for a few years and the food and pizza here is awesome, to include items you don’t easily find in other places such as mozarella di Buffala, fried zucchini flowers, garlic artichokes, they even have things off the menu such as pasta vongole. The hospitality and service are also top notch!

Amazing food! Fresh, quick, delicious. I liked that there were several specials to choose from. We got an appetizer special made with the homemade mozzarella and lobster ravioli. Both were fabulous. I don’t drink alcohol and I always appreciate a great mocktail on the menu, of which they have two! Will go back!

If you have a chance, make sure to say hi to Flavio. His heartfelt hospitality makes every meal a pleasure. The food is fantastic and probably under priced based on the quality and service. They have the best Napolitano pizza in San Diego. I also love their seafood. Especially the calamari and cozze. The wine list is more extensive than I would have imagined and pairs perfectly with the menu. Enjoy.

First timers. We came a half an hour before closing on a weekday. They treated us like we were the best customers ever. Food was amazing. The pizza was perfection: wood-fired, thin, and foldable yet crispy. The calzone was gigantic. Our server Eduardo was excellent. The wine selection was yummy. The place is very bustling, despite the nearing closing time. We’ll be back to try the asparagus risotto.

Love! This! Place! Best option for authentic Italian in the neighborhood, hands down. This pizza is excellent. Bonus: they’ve got vegan mozzarella, for those of you who can’t do lactose. The crust is chewy perfection. Top-notch happy hour deals from 4-6, and we 1000% will be back soon!
