Beautiful subsurface cafe and store. The Sambal & Spam bun was fantastic and the honey cake it to die for. Super friendly staff and great atmosphere! Would absolutely recommend for a quick stop.

I came across sibeiho sambal for the first time at a farmers market. I cant stop eating this stuff, nearly everyday for the past month I steam a cup of rice, fry 2 eggs in sambal and enjoy, literally the tastiest breakfast and I never get tired of it! I haven’t tried it with anything else yet but it’s just so good with rice and eggs

I had the pleasure of visiting 2 weekends ago and met owners Holly and Pat who were so much fun to chat with and not to mention absolutely gracious hosts. Stepping into Sibeiho’s storefront makes me feel like I’ve traveled back to Singapore. They have a good selection of sambal and Singapore inspired lifestyle products on display. Tried their curry puffs with the Boomz sambal – the sambal, although not spicy, added a layer of umani and elevated the flavor profile of the spices in the curry puff. The kueh sago looked delicate and felt soft, but the flavor was anything but. The gula melaka added a bold punch of flavor that perfectly complemented the coconut. Highly recommend a visit if you’re ever in Portland and craving authentic Singapore fare.
