So glad we found this little gem! We had a delicious meal and fantastic service. There were so many options we had a hard time deciding on what to get. We started our meal with mimosas they were strong and well balanced. We had the empanadas and they were a perfect texture and full of flavor, the dipping sauce was a nice touch. We had steak and egg tacos, chicken fried steak fried potatoes and eggs and biscuits and gravy. Everything was so unique and full of delicious flavor! We are already talking about all the different items we can try when we go back for lunch or dinner!!

Very nice restaurant. Small, but accommodating. It was busy on Saturday night, but didn’t wait. Attentive and pleasant staff. The food is Tex Mex with a gourmet twist. I had the brisket tacos. Fresh made tortillas, soft, tender, juicy brisket with a multitude of other ingredients. Very colorful and an almost complicated taste. I would have them again, but there are so many other dishes I’d like to try. The friendly atmosphere was a plus.

From the crew that brought you Dickinson Avenue Public house comes Side Bar! It’s a great spot to hang for drinks or grab some food. They make well cultivated margaritas and other tequila and mezcal offerings with attention to detail. The menu is fun and unique which very cool appetizers and great craft tacos. The roasted cauliflower and lamb croquettes are a must try! I really enjoy their smoked brisket and duck tacos. The ambience is great for a night out with friends or a date night and the bar has great seating as well. The service is awesome – a kind and fun team to top it off! Just like DAP house definitely one of my favourite spots in Greenville.

Food is amazing, drinks are good, service is hit or miss. We’ve been several times and never had a bad meal. We have had questionable service, and I’m not being picky. One member of our party never got their order and our server didn’t notice. We finished our meal before they came back to check on us. That’s not the norm for Side Bar, but it has happened.

The server was super nice and brought things in a timely manner, the food? 100% fresh! Tasted just as good as it looked, and there was a wiiiide variety of drink selections to choose from. Definitely recommend this place for sure and 9/10 times I only leave reviews if the place is bad.. so yeah. Try out Side Bar next time you come to Greenville for sure!

Side Bar is awesome. Im so happy to have a local spot that creates specialty drinks with Mezcal! The aesthetic is super cute! I would describe it as modern bohemian with a hip Mexican flair. Upscale but not elitist— a comfortable space to enjoy delicious drinks & food with friends , but also a sweet date night destination.
