The Side Street Cafe He’s a little hidden jewel located in the industrial center of Newbury Park. The prices is in this day and age is still reasonable. I had a hamburger, patty and eggs and it was only 10.99. what a great deal! The servers and bus boys are very nice and friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

It’s good. Definitely worth the visit for the Eggs Benedict alone. Atmosphere is a bit cliché and the homely vibe is a little forced. POS system is an adding machine and the check was almost impossible to read. Service is abrupt and staff seem to be 50% new… But the food! Conflictingly good.

Service is quick and attentive, even while being backed. Food was pretty forgettable. It wasn’t bad by any means, but wasn’t great; Somewhat bland. We ordered their chicken fried steak breakfast and the French toast breakfast. Both were about the same level of excitement.

The big attraction for me was the gluten free toast, French toast, and pancakes. They screwed up my GF toast but I caught it. The service was poor and the food served just warm. Too bad.

Good was great, flavorful and plentiful! Service….eghh. Being from Texas, we are used to service with a smile. Cali is a little different. The place is mixed in with some i dustrial buildings but was easy to find, parking was limited.
