This is a really hidden gem in the city of Grosse Pointe. It is located on the side street of Saint Clair just south of Kercheval. A small and quaint diner decorated in pastel colors. There is a small, colorful outside patio. The service is friendly, and fast! They make you feel like you’re the only one in a crowded restaurant. Next time you were in Grosse Pointe please come here and be delighted!

Stopped here on our way through town and the food was delicious. Service was wonderful and the place was clean and cute. Will definitely stop in again next time we are in the area.

Food is always amazing! The cuban sandwich is one of my favorites. Whenever i get takeout is it ready ON TIME and HOT! Service never disappoints eating in either. Good spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Very good. Very fast and friendly service. Husband and I went in for a late lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. There was plenty of parking available and no wait for a table. Our food came out quickly but didn’t feel rushed. I ordered the turkey reuben and husband ordered the Celtic club and a side of french fries to share. Both sandwiches came with a small side of pasta salad or coleslaw. I picked the slaw and he picked the pasta, both were tasty. Took a piece of butter pecan cake togo, cake was soft and delicious but the frosty was just okay. Definitely will be back.

I had the absolute best eggs Benedict, Scottish style (over a Scotch meat pie)! And then had to buy one of Chef Emily’s Irish Bailey’s buttercream chocolate cakes. SOOO good!

Honestly if there was an option for 6 on atmosphere or service I would leave it. It’s a warm welcoming place that cooked up delicious food for us. The first time we had been out together in years, Stacey our server was attentive, chatty but not intrusive. Her recommendations were on point and it was a pleasure talking to her.

There was an extensive variety of food on the menu so all four of us could choose our first meal of the day at 11 am when they opened. Two had breakfast, one of us had brunch & one of us had dinner. Very generous portions & tasty. Two of us took half of our meals home for later.

Came here by myself for a quick lunch, ordered a reuben and a coffee. Waitress asked me if I wanted it on rye bread, which I said yes of course. Brings out the sandwich and its literally just regular grocery store wheat bread they grilled, not rye. The pasta salad on the side was literally just a tiny ketchup cup with maybe 6 little noodles in it that tasted horrible, I ate one and just put it down. It was like that acidic regurgitation taste when you throw up a little in your mouth during a burp. But a pasta. And then the pickle wedge they gave me was rubbery and chewy with no taste, like chewing on the sole of a shoe. Also didn’t finish that. I honestly don’t know how you serve a pickle wedge from a jar wrong. Also, the waitress walked by after giving me this meal that could’ve been made better by a college student and winked at me which was a little unsettling. I’ll give a 2 star because the sandwich meat was okay and they were generous with the thousand island dressing, but I’m annoyed that the whole meal plus a coffee cost me $20.33 including the 20% tip I still left them. Sometimes just because a dish turns out bad, doesn’t necessarily mean the whole restaurant is. But looking at other reviews, it seems lunch sandwiches is not this place’s strong suit.

The food gets 5 stars good and hot. The dessert cake and peach cobbler were not so good. Maybe it’s just not a good choice for me. I would recommend this diner.
