Always the best meal out. Amazing, creative drinks and the best food! It is really special to see the herbs in your meals/drinks picked fresh before your eyes and then transformed into the most delicious recipes. I can’t mention a place I have ever been quite like here.

I will start by saying it is pricey but SO WORTH IT! The staff is incredible from the hostess who helped bring meals and answer questions to the server who was attentive and we definetly had some good laughs with. The chef sent out a free amuse bouche that was a puff pastry filled with a goat cheese and onion mixture. But let me tell you the oysters! I have eaten oysters on the half shell pretty much my whole life and they were phenomenal the mignonette was everything I didn’t know I was missing. Food was seasoned to perfection. I mean they don’t even have salt and pepper on the table because it is not needed. Already planning to return and can’t wait till the menu changes again.

This is my favorite restaurant! The food is excellent, a fantastic atmosphere, always friendly staff and the owners are so nice and accommodating. We visit every year in our anniversary and if I’m lucky a few times in between!

Perfect dining experience. Extensive wine list, beautiful old circa1790 building, friendly wait staff, delicious food. It was our first time here and we will definitely be back. I had shrimp salad and grilled pork chop, he had Caesar salad and short ribs, then we split the decadent chocolate cake. All outstanding. We moved to PA a year ago and have been on the hunt for 2-3 really good restaurants. We found one!

This place was lovely, but expensive. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable, though I did feel a little pressure to order an app, an entree, and a dessert. Some of the decor choices were… Interesting, but the overall atmosphere was nice. We mentioned it was a special occasion and the chef gave us a little amuse bouche free of charge. They do, however, charge $7 for bread and butter (though I gladly paid it–it was utterly delicious). Food was fantastic for all courses (ordered the gnocchi pictured below). Overall, would recommend!

Wow the food here is the best I’ve ever had. The flavors are incredibly fantastic! Had the arctic char and a fall vegetable soup/ no meat and I really couldn’t believe the flavors in the soup, it was amazing. Went again Friday and was equally impressed with the monkfish and butternut squash soup!

Cute Gettysburg atmosphere. Great food, but pricey. Full restaurant so it was a bit noisy for conversation. Waiter seemed new- Forgot appetizer before our meal was served and my husband asked for a spoon to eat his dessert and again he was forgotten about.

Good food, Saturday gets busy and it’s a Tavern so it gets loud inside. They do a monthly wine pairing with 5 course meal. Worth trying! Definitely would go there again.
