A reliable and tasty place for lunch. The price point is a couple dollars more than I wish it was, however in Winter ‘22 when so many places are closed for lunch, they are open AND have great service. The veggies are fresh and the coffee is hot.

Stayed here for a week, loved it. It is very convenient to have a rental for snowboarders and skiers right at the hotel. Wonderful service and food. Liked the breakfasts. Disappointing only one hostess in the restaurant – Marco. Unfriendly, rude, arrogant, muttering something under his breath is impossible to make out, turns away and does not listen in every possible way showing disinterest. All the time missing from the workplace. Today we waited for him for 10 minutes and in the end the waiters put us in because he was not in the hall or at the workplace. Today is a weekday. There were a lot of people here on the weekends and the wonderful hostesses coped and they managed to leave a pleasant impression every day. Like the waiters, they are all great! But Marco does not understand his work responsibilities at all. I’m sure his responsibilities are not walking around in circles in an empty room with a businesslike look, ignoring the guests who are waiting to be seated, pretending that he’s doing something important. All the days when Marco was at the reception – he mocked the guests.

We had the breakfast buffet and were so impressed by the quality of the pastries there. Easily some of the best croissants I have had in my life! The buffet also offered standard breakfast spread like fresh fruits, egg Benedict, omelette, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, salad, cold cuts, juices, and others. $35 pp, not including coffee.

The PoBoy Sandwich is the best! Wish there were more entree options and not so many sandwich/burger items. The patio is wonderful at night. The server was friendly, she checked on us a few times during the meal but then she never returned to offer desert or inquire if we needed anything else. We had to wait several minutes to communicate to her that we were ready for the check because she was chatting inside with another table. We finally asked someone to let her know we were ready. Instead of bringing the check to us, she let that person handle the transaction. It was awkward- like okay I guess we’ll leave now? We expected a little more of a service experience dining at the Sierra Cafe vs. the saloon (where we actually have received great service). In the future we’ll probably just stick to room service or ordering take out from the local restaurants.
