Slow service. Only person there was me and after a few bites i understood why. Nice big sammich and meat was tender, but it had ZERO flavor. It’s advertised as old tyme bbq…it ain’t even remotely close!! Baked beans just warmed up right out of a can. No bothering to give them a lil something extra to make them have a home cooked flavor. 4 stars for “just going thru the motion of service and quality.” Well needless to say ain’t coming back.

1st experience at this place was about 4 years ago. There were kids running in and out of the kitchen around the food while ordering. Get the food home and everyone’s making bbq sandwiches and eating til someone goes to make a sandwich and out from the middle of the bbq comes a nice long hair (the women working there has long hair), so don’t expect cleanliness nor hair nets. I refused to ever go back again. Fast forward til about 3 months ago, tried them again (not my choice!!!) And the bbq was ok, they had no lids for the beans or slaw so they put a little foil on top. The beans were ICE cold and the slaw was hot. I don’t do 3rd chances. Trust me, drive 30 seconds further down to jacks creek bbq, you’ll get hot beans, yummy bbq, and cleanliness.
