Stopped for some Silo Fried Chicken this evening and everything was absolutely amazing!! The service was fantastic, friendly and accommodating of my husband’s special request. The food came out quickly and was hot, fresh and so delicious!! You can’t go wrong no matter what you choose but we highly recommend the Telekinetic and Glutenous to the Maximus. And if you get the french fries the red pepper mayo dipping sauce is the bomb!!

Silo is where it’s at! They have something for everyone, and it’s all delicious. Although they’re known for their fried chicken and mac and cheese, the tofu sandwich with the creamy slaw is my go-to order. Plus, they have the best fries in the county! Fresh-cut, crispy, and perfectly salted with many topping and sauce options. I recommend the disco fries.

Really wanted to like this place since I’m from the South and they claimed to do southern style chicken. First time I went it was disappointing so decided to go again thinking maybe they had an off day and that trip was worse. The chicken itself is fine but it’s two small pieces of thigh on the sandwiches. The “field greens” is just spinach. The bun on one sandwich was so hard it wasn’t edible. Both times we went the fries came out lukewarm. The truck gravy and mac and cheese were both pretty good though. If this place was in the South they’d be run out of town with those $15 sandwiches.

Great food! Great Beer! Ordered the hot knuckle sandwich (with extra hot!) and mini Mac from inside Liquid State Brewery. It came fast right to the table and it was DELICIOUS! The Extra HOTT sauce was super tasty, and the sandwich was excellent- great bun, crispy moist flavorful chicken, pickles, sauce- all wonderful. And the truck fries? Perfect! The mini mac n cheese was a great side-mild and cheesy. We love the beer at Liquid State and now we love the food-from Silo!

You deserve this food! I was first introduced by a vegetarian and then I fell in love with the fried chicken! That green curry has my whole heart too along with the creamiest Mac ever! Oooo and if you aren’t full from all that do a favor and grab a slab of cornbread. Excellent over and over again. Should be the first stop for any foodie in Ithaca!

Had higher hopes for this place. The chicken was decent. Tender. Thai sauce was good, but the fries were HARD rock hard old fries. Same with the chicken sandwich bun, was like a crouton. Would give it another shot but the fries seem like they are a week old and keep getting reheated. Mac and cheese was good.

Lightly coated perfectly cooked fried chicken. The Mac and cheese was 100% on point! Macaroni was perfectly cooked, cheese was tasty but not overwhelming. I got the Spicy Orgasmac, and it definitely delivered on flavor! Good heat without being melt your fave off. And the sauces are very good as well, I highly recommend the green coconut curry sauce!!!

Stopped at a local market and everyone was getting Silo’s food! So I had to try! Got Mac and cheese and 2 drumsticks. Came with pickled onions and gravy on the side. I got it to go, si it sat for about 20 minutes. But it was delicious! The chicken was juicy, the Mac and cheese was perfect. I even liked the pickled onions! I am glad the gravy was on the side. I tasted it first and found it way too salty for me. But every else was great!!!
