Really good! We stayed at Pier B and really enjoyed being able to eat right there. I had seen some not so great reviews the prior weekend so I was a bit apprehensive. I got a lot of good feedback from the Twinports Foodie Facebook group, though and decided to give it a shot. We opted for handhelds and the nachos appetizer. All was fabulous and our server was excellent! We ended going back to the lounge after spending 2 hours in the outdoor hot tub, and they even gave us to go cups for our last cocktail so we could enjoy up in our room. Also, the caramel apple cocktail was Amazing!

Food quality is consistent and excellent. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. Do not forget to order the cheese curds! I’d drive the 2 hours from the twin cities just for those. We went during the restaurant week so got great deals on top sirloin steaks and craft beers. Steaks were perfectly medium throughout. The vegetable marinara pasta satisfied our vegetarian but was surprisingly sweet in a somewhat pleasant way. Bloody Mary was just okay, the garnish was just a lemon slice and 2 green olives.

In order of great to OK, the location and ambiance of Silos ranks high for any where in Duluth. The service was good. Then we come to the food – which was good mind you (was there for lunch) but not outstanding and certainly not of the caliber equal to the price charged. I get why the prices are so high given the location etc. as previously mentioned, and also that Silos is part of an upper tier hotel. Summary: if you are looking for a good meal at reasonable prices you should probably skip this restaurant.

Went here for the first time for a friendly, extended business. View was wonderful. Staff was helpful. Food was excellent. Ambiance was supportive for our goals of deepening the friendship among us (we could hear one another talk without having to fight through extraneous background music and other people’s conversations. AND they had a ramp to bring my limited-mobility wife down to the better tables!!!!! (Unlike other places that leave handicapped patrons sitting at the least desirable, out of the way tables.)
