We had the Shrimp Poboy, Chicken & Sausage Gumbo, sides of dirty rice, fries and hush puppies with banana pudding for dessert. (They were out of potato salad) Shrimp Poboy was excellent, Gumbo was excellent. Fries and hush puppies were dried out and overcooked. Although the dirty rice had a good flavor, it was the smallest side I’ve ever had with a meal. But…. the show stopper was the “Banana Pudding”. It tasted like store bought mix with some Nilla Wafers stuck in the top. Not a single piece of banana in it. Didn’t taste as good as the vanilla pudding cups by Jello and cost 8 bucks. We’ll try them again but this place has to up their game.

They were out of popcorn shrimp, but I chose salt and pepper shrimp instead, only it lacked the salt but had all the pepper. I think they put it in the dirty rice because it tasted like a bowl of salt. French fries were warm and stale like. You get a very small portion and I don’t have to tell you how expensive seafood is. I am highly disappointed. If I could give zero stars, I would but the lady that took my order was nice.

I had the smash burger … tasted great … and my wife enjoyed her small shrimp dinner! We got out for an early dinner, but I predict they’ll be busy during normal dinner hours. Service was great! I’m excited to try the shrimp, perhaps a Po’Boy!

Delish. Had a shrimp boil and combo fried rice. 30 bucks. Wish they put more corn and potato in the boil. Only 1 potato and a quarter of a cob. Plus no sausage in there. But tasted really good.

I have visited this place a few times before deciding to leave an honest review. I love the atmosphere, very nice and family friendly. All hosts and hostesses were very attentive to our needs and had a smile when addressing you. Chris was also great about greeting customers to check in to see how the service was. During our multiple visits, we have ordered crawfish, cheese sticks, fries, oysters, chicken fried rice, combination fried rice (chicken, shrimp, steak), smash burger, fish, and shrimp. Although, during our last visit, the fish was fried a little too hard for my party preference. I would still give all the food a 5 star rating overall for flavor and portion size. The fried rice is soooo good that I wish it was offered in both a small and large portion. On the soft opening menu, it appears to be offered in one size. With that said, Silsbee Seafood is doing an amazing job so far. I hope they are around for years to come.

I loved this place. Great service , food was delicious. I had grilled shrimp and it was so good. Only thing was it was very spicy. Next time I will just ask for them to go lighter on the seasoning . Need to make another trip back there.

The Bang Bang shrimp was suggested by our server, and it did not disappoint. I will definitely return. Only issues was them being a little short staffed, and not having several items on the menu available. Other than that, the experience was great!

Our waitress was awesome even though she was the only one working!!Still the soft opening menu?? Disappointed in the choices. Come on Silsbee Seafood, you have potential, step up your game!! Gumbo was extremely salty! No potato salad?? You sell gumbo, big no no. Boiled shrimp was rubbery and had way too much minced garlic on it. Fried catfish was good!
