We were repeat customers so it was a surprise to experience how downhill this restaurant had gone since our last visit. Arrived at 5:30pm with reservations and they were already out of veal, meatballs and lasagna. Viewed the wine list but was told the inventory didn’t match any of their printed list, so I eventually decided upon the only bottle of Italian red wine left, which just happened to be their most expensive. Our friends ordered muscles marinara as only an appetizer but the waitress completely mistook it for their entree. We settled for pizza, which took over an hour and a half to bring out to our table because supposedly the first one they made got burned or destroyed so they said they had to make another. The check came to $133.64 which when itemized showed we were overcharged but I paid it with a tip nevertheless. We won’t be back, and neither will any of our friends.

I’ve tried to order from this place 3 times now. First, they would.not answer the phone so I went up there to place a take out order. The girl told me she would be with me in a minute and after 15 minutes I gave up. Second, they did answer the phone but I was told they don’t have anyone to make pizzas. Third, I called when they advertise that they’re open, a girl answered and said we’re closed and hung up. Can’t say if the food is good or not because I have never been able to try it.

A great little restaurant hidden away west of town. The Italian food is delicious, cooked with fresh ingredients that provide amazing flavor. The staff are friendly and upbeat. The bar scene is fun with locals willing to joke and share stories.

Delicious!!! One of my favorite places. I drive 20 minutes out of my way to pick up food regularly. Best vodka sauce. Their stuffed mushrooms and lobster ravioli are phenomenal. You can’t really go wrong here. Everything is amassing. The staff is fun and outgoing. Very pleasant people who make you feel like family.

This place is awful the baked ziti was terrible no sauce just alittle cheese.when I went to tell that about our meal the staff were very nasty arguing with me.we didn’t eat any of it they told us we can’t just pay for our drinks and leave we have to pay for the food anyway.On top of that they over charged us.i will never go back there again would not even feed the food to my dog..

Brought my dad there for his birthday. Made reservations and we’re seated as soon as we walked in but it went downhill from there. Waitress was very busy and service could have been better. We ordered linguine with red calm sauce, spaghetti and meatballs and a shrimp and pasta dish. Sauce was bland and watery. Wine had a fizzy taste. We won’t be back

Friendly atmosphere and excellent food. If you like Italian food this is the restaurant to try. The pizza is made just for you. The Shrimp Scampi is out of this world. The waitress is fast and really friendly. Good to try this place.

Dining in at Silvano’s is great. Excellent food, decent service. Ordering a pizza from them, on the other hand, is a nightmare. We ordered a pizza once, half pepperoni and half white (I’m vegetarian), and we got a white pizza with pepperoni on it, so I couldn’t eat it. Another time we ordered, they told us it would be ready in 45 minutes, and when we came to pick up 45 minutes later it still wasn’t ready and they couldn’t tell us how much longer we’d have to wait, so we cancelled our order. Tonight we decided to give them one more chance. My boyfriend ordered a large cheese pizza at 7pm. I was driving in from NYC and got there at 8pm to pick up. They have no record of my boyfriend’s order. None. They claimed they never got a call for a large cheese pizza at all. The time stamp on my boyfriend’s phone clearly says he called Silvano’s at 7pm. I don’t know if they accidentally gave our pizza to someone else who came to pick up and are trying to hide that, or if they just didn’t give my boyfriend’s order to the kitchen. Either way, this is the third bad experience we’ve had with them, it’s ridiculous at this point and we are never ordering from them again.

Just had dinner here on a Saturday night for the first time with a friend who tends to be very picky. We are both picky in our own way, but Silvano’s made us both so happy. It’s unpretentious. They kindly accommodated us even though we showed up with no reservations within a half hour of closing time, being prepared to be turned away. Wonderful experience! Delicious, fresh food. I had a spinach side dish and could tell it was fresh spinach with fresh garlic done to perfection which is not easy to do with spinach, but they really know what they’re doing here. We also had the sausage stuffed mushrooms which I have been craving ever since! So yummy! He had the veal parm. I had the chicken marsala, both were fantastic! Our server was so nice, too. Really great service, fantastic food, pleasant atmosphere at a very reasonable price. Thank you, Silvano’s! You made our night very special. We will definitely be back.
