Took my wife and grandson there for lunch as we were passing through. Grandson’s cheeseburger was one of the best he’s had (I agree)! Wife had a chicken sandwich that Bill (the cook) added pesto to. She absolutely loved it! Staff was wonderfully kind and engaging. Don’t miss this gem!

Bill saw us walk into foyer, then leave. He came out the door, saw us walking away and called out “the food is good here”. We decided to try restaurant after all. BEST DECISION ever. Food was indeed good, the staff fabulous and the fellow patrons we talked to were lots of fun. Bill, thank you for “Chasing us down”. We’re grateful.

My boyfriend and I drove 8 hours to North Dakota, we were extremely tired and hungry by the time we arrived. We called to ensure The Silver Dollar was still open, the amazing bartender sadly informed us they were just about to close the kitchen, but not a minute later the owner called back and told us he would stay open for us to come in! When we arrived the owner and bartender were so friendly and welcomed us with open arms. The food was incredible and freshly made with love! We wound up sitting down at the bar to eat and drink and had a wonderful conversation with the owner that we’ll remember for a lifetime. Thank you so much for a beautiful experience. We highly recommend all visitors and locals to come here!
