Food is consistently very good and very fresh. Been eating there regularly for over a year and it’s always great. Their chicken Caesar salad is amazing, as well as their chicken parm wedge. Also, very friendly and neighborly staff! They also are pretty fast. I’ve been in there when they are absolutely slammed and they churn out great food so fast.

We were walking on Lake Street and heading towards Silver Lake when we wandered into the Silver Lake Cafe & Grill. We were thrilled to see that they sell Longford’s ice cream! We are huge fans of Longford’s ice cream and it’s much closer to walk or drive to the Silver Lake Cafe than to drive to Rye or Larchmont!

Apparently a single egg is a standard on a bacon egg and cheese sandwich at this location you have to ask for two eggs. I was really disappointed with my sandwich I got here. Skinniest sandwich I ever eaten.
