Friend had the hot beef sandwich which was top notch, the dipping sauce was flavorful and not too salty. Our bartender was really friendly and the locals in the bar were nice and talkative. Great spot for stiff cheap drink, good food and a friendly atmosphere

A couple of their bartenders are great. A couple are not. And it seems the best bartenders don’t last long here. The last one we had was snooty and not friendly. Wings are really good. Atmosphere is nice, but if your service sucks… You don’t enjoy it as much.

On a road-trip with the buddies from Milwaukee to Janesville and this was the type of place you want to stop in the winter. Classic Wisconsin back-bar and a fun group of people in there. BIG real wood burning fireplace takes up the wall and really warms the place up (not to mention the smell taking you deep in the woods 🙂 )

Owner operated bar. Prices are very reasonable and hospitality is at its best. There are daily specials and happy hour specials to make el Cheepo proud. The Saturday and Sunday morning breakfast Burger is awesome!
