Be advised, their “paninis” are not your typical paninis. I expected a flat cheesy dish that was easy to eat. This was more like a giant sandwich with unseasoned veggies. The bread was soggy and wet on the bottom from how greasy the vegetables were. My husband got a steak wrap and said it had no taste. Maybe we will try their pizza another time but I would stay away from the plated food menu.

Chicken Soulvaki Salad – amazingly delicious! A generous salad bursting with tons of chicken along with a large homemade roll. Would highly recommend their salads – I’ve never had their pizza but I bet they’re great!

Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! I have gotten meatball pizzas from the food trucks that come to Quinnipiac University (I’ve waited 75 minutes in line outside for it; it’s that good!) so I’ve finally found a time to get the pizza straight from the source. The pizza is even better, with a nice, crispy crust and perfectly cooked, thin center. The interior is small, cute, and cozy and definitely looks like a nice place to sit down and eat. The people are great and treat you well. I highly recommend Silver Sands!

We ordered pizza and chicken strips with fries. Pizza was ok, but not so impressive. Chicken strips and fries were not the food that we usually eat. Probably good for one time dinning but not something I will order again. For short, we went there first time we sat outside, but the second time we sat inside because it started raining. Inside was so noisy and smelled fume from the oven. The door of the over was being slammed after each open and close: boom boom. For short, it is not my favorite place. Probably I will go there next summer if everywhere else fail in our decision making…

My friends took me to Silver Sands Pizza to celebrate my Birthday. The pizza, a veggie Supreme was excellent as were the garlic knots. The pizzas are great but there are appetizers, salads, soups, grinders, dinners, Greek dishes, desserts and more. The staff is attentive and even sang Happy Birthday to me and gave me a slice of wonderful chocolate cake. Wonderful casual dining with something for every appetite.

The food quality isn’t the issue here, but you’ll have to order well in advance to pick up. I’ve ordered the buy 3, get the 4 grinder offers twice for pick up. Both times I was given a 25 minute wait and ended up waiting well over 45 minutes each time.

Solid pizza spot. Great service, good pizza and garlic bites. Wings were ok – asked for crispy but they weren’t. They still were ok though. Will definitely go back for the pizza and to try the other items.

This place used to be decent but after my last couple experiences I will never be back. Last time I ordered a pizza, it was so soggy that it was literally dripping wet like it had been through a car wash and couldn’t even be hand held. Thinking that one bad experience was a fluke, I tried to give them a second chance and simply ordered a sandwich and some garlic knots. I arrived 30 minutes after placing the order that they said would take 20 minutes, and was told they needed 5 more minutes. After waiting 15, they said “1-2 more minutes.” Meanwhile I was the only customer waiting in a nearly empty restaurant. After another 5 minutes had passed, I just said forget it and insisted on a refund, and left without my food. How do you see that one customer is literally standing there waiting for 20 minutes and not prioritize their order that would take 5 minutes to make? Was a waste of 30 minutes of my life, but at least I learned not to go back!

We decided to try Silver Sand Pizza after reading all the positive reviews and let me tell you that they did not disappoint! Everything we had was absolutely delicious! (pizza, chicken parm meal, cranberry salad, mozzarella sticks, chicken wings, and the infamous garlic knots!) The customer service was outstanding, all the staff were very friendly and attentive. Service was fast but we didn’t feel rushed at all.
