As you can tell by recent reviews, this restaurant definitely lacks good customer service and hospitality. You can have beautiful decor and good food, but if the staff is rude and unwelcoming, it makes it not worth it.

A nice fancy restaurant with excellent food and dessert. The only thing that surprised me is that entrées didn’t come with a side salad or soup. Otherwise, the food was delicious and worth trying. I went with a party of 7 and each of us got something different, so we can try a bit of everything.

Fabulous dinner. Outdoor dinning on porch. Could see and hear Paint Creek. Hostess and our server were great. New to Rochester and so happy to find such a great restaurant so close

Was looking forward to a nice dinner with some good food in a beautiful city. The hostess really soured the experience. Unfriendly, condescending, and overall poor customer service. Was making it evident that my group (and even another group that came in after us) were inconveniencing her by not having a reservation because “these tables are all assigned already”. Kept seating others that walked in without explaining that she was seating people with reservations first to at least make it clear why she was pushing us aside. Then told us that she will be the one to be yelled at for giving away tables to people without reservations when the customers with reservations come in. I explained multiple times it was our first time here, we had no idea a reservation was the expectation, apologized for not having a reservation, offered to leave since we didn’t have one. Attempted to leave and she said “no, no I’ll seat you”. The whole way to our table she reminded us again we should have had a reservation. Even when we got to our table I explained I attempted to call three times that day to make a reservation and she said they did not open until 5 PM – the same time we arrived. I offered ONCE AGAIN for us to leave so we were not taking someones table with a reservation and she declined. It was so uncomfortable to have someone make you feel this way when you’re about to spend $150 on a dinner for two people.

Really a shame that first impressions mean so much… the food was presented nicely, and had great depth to its flavors. The waitress, Kat, was great- she was fast, informative, and knew the menu in great detail– Kat and the quality of the food almost saved the night. We arrived at 4:50, as we knew we did not have a reservation and wanted to be “in and out” as to not affect those who did. We tried calling before coming in, but apparently there is nobody in the building until 5 PM on the dot. We arrived, we’re put to the side for 20 minutes, and told that they were slammed and were looking for a spot for us from the hostess- all the while, there were maybe 2 tables actively in the restaurant. The hostess had no problem making us feel like a burden, and there was an awkward tone set from the moment we walked up. She later told us that she is going to get yelled at for moving this table, at this point it is 5:25 and we are still not sat, when we could have been sat and out of there in an hour or less. As we walked to the table, we were stared at by just about all of the staff, as apparently we had been that big of a problem just waiting for a seat. I’ve been to and reviewed a lot of places, but this takes the cake for bar none, the most awkward and demeaning experience. Love the food, the waitress was great, but will never return to a place where I felt I was not welcome while spending good money to be there.

I would like to say our first time here today and it was exceptional! Our waiter Jessi was very attentive and knowledgeable about food and wine. He did a great job. To the chef, we are delighted to have tasted so many different dishes full of FLAVORS. Thank you to everyone. We will definitely be back for more.

Not a huge fan. We ordered sea bass and it came whole and fully intact. We asked that it be dressed. The staff was hesitant to do so, but they finally agreed. However, even after they dressed it, the fish was very fishy tasting/not fresh and was not worth the argument. We paid over $120 for 2 drinks and a meal we did not want to eat. We will not visit this place again.

We were extremely disappointed in the service , which I understand help everywhere is hard to find, but our food was also definitely not up to par for the “ elite status” this restaurant portrays to be. The cocktails were not great, appetizers very basic, gnocchi was well over cooked , veal had no flavor. For the prices being paid, the food should be way higher quality and it certain was not. Hoping that sharing my experience will help them being to where they need to be at standards and quality.
