If you are looking for a historic, no frills and affordable experience (or specifically for a hotdog) then this is your spot. Right by the park, this family-owned business just celebrated 50 years under the current family leadership who’s grandfather opened the original stand in the same location in 1908, later becoming the original permanent structure that is there today. You will most definitely meet the family when you visit.

Family-owned and operated for over 100 years. I have been coming here since I was a kid, and so did my Pèpére (grandfather). The atmosphere is reminiscent of an old French-Canadian diner. The space is a tad cramped, but that’s part of the charm. Don’t forget to say hi to Jimmy, Linda, and George!

Awesome nostalgia all-around in this old fashioned diner, built in 1908! This is a traditional family-owned and operated diner, with very friendly service and they treat you just like family. I definitely recommend trying their red hot dogs, fully loaded (mustard, relish, and onions) of course

Have had the 2 steamed dogs with chili on top for lunch (no breakfast); Beef dog with Fries, & just yesterday I had a Double CheeseBurger with Fries. A 20oz. drink of choice. All good filling items we all enjoy, whether our cholesterol likes it or not. Lots of locals stopping in, warm, friendly atmosphere, even if you’re new to them. Home made soups, I understand (have not tried as yet,) are great. Just a wonderful place to land and have dine-in or take-out. Staff works very hard, remember you. More places like ? There are none – quite sad – to my knowledge.

Cute family owned restaurant serving breakfast till 11am and lunch till 2pm, M-F. The owners, managers, wait staff, cooks, customers…everyone was so friendly! Delicious food at really great prices! Make sure to sign their guest book, they have an ongoing one for over a decade!
