I have been here three times so far and they have been pretty consistent with the quality of their food and they always have a great atmosphere. The servers are courteous and the manager was very nice. She was real knowledgeable about the dishes which made it little easier to make my selections. I suggest the stuffed shrimp. My only issue was having to wait so long to get my entree. A little more urgency from the kitchen would be appreciated. So as Arnold Schwarzenegger would say, “I’ll be back”

On Saturday 1/16/2016 we took my mother-in-law to Simon in College Park for her birthday. We arrived around 4:00 and it was the worst experience I have experienced in a restaurant. The servers were nice but the manager Belinda was awful. We had a party of about 45 guest. My table the family table orders were taken first. It is now 6:30 and still we had not received food after being told its coming, its coming. Granted no-one has bothered to tell us anything. Finally the servers inform us that the cooks had lost the ticket in the back for the entire table. Yet 2 of the children got their food. After member of the party started to inquire about the long wait the manager got really rude with one of the guest. Telling him she is an award winning manager. I couldn’t tell by her actions. The assistant manager and the server continued to apologize, but not time did she ever come in the room where we were to express her apologies. Also, in the process of us leaving I noticed other guests at the bar complaining and she very loudly told them I am the manager and what I say goes. What happen to the customer is always right? This was majority of the party first time visiting the restaurant and they said it will be their last. I would love to talk to someone personally about this experience. I am giving this and overall 1 star, but I give the servers Tony and Denise a 5.

I planned a surprise birthday dinner for my grandmother’s birthday 2 weeks in advance. When we arrived arpind 330 we had about 30 guests. The bartender and another guy was our waiters. Half the group never got drinks. Some ordered appetizers that took over 40 minutes to get. Once we ordered our food we had to wait almost an hour to get it and even then only 2 tables received their food. We sat for another hour or so only to find out our tickets had been lost and the food was never prepared. The manager never apologizedid or tried to fix the situation. We ended up leaving with only 1/3 of the group eating. Will never go back to this restaurant (if you can call it that) again !!!!!

We eat here maybe 6 times year. Normally great good however, we had the worse serves waited 20 minutes before anyone came to table. My prime steak was suppose to 14 oz medium rear it came out but n dry. On top that my husband order pork chops 2 for 20.00 they gave one pork chop and said oh cook didn’t cut in half. Call manger she say oh they should came with two pork chops. The host are very young playing at the door and don’t know how to greet any one. This place is going down hill.

A group of us (about a dozen) were taken here by our class trainers. They had eaten at Simon’s a number of times and were pleased with the food / service.

My sister and I love steak and are constantly trying out new steak places. When we saw that Simons was advertised as a steak and seafood house we decided to give it a try. When we first walked in we did enjoy the ambiance because it had a very family owned fee to it and we liked it. That was about all we liked though. We decided to give the crab stuffed mushrooms a go as an appetizer and we were not too pleased. The over all taste of the mushrooms were good, but then again how can you mess up putting cheese into a mushroom. But we could not seem to find or taste any crab in the mushrooms what so ever. After that she had baked potato soup and I had a house salad. She said her soup was very bland and needed to put a lot of salt and pepper in it. I got a salad hoping they couldn’t mess that up but I made the mistake of asking for oil and vinegar as my dressing. Not only did they give me vegetable oil to put on my salad, yuck, but the oil also tasted liked it had been sitting in a dusty room for 20 years. After reviving our soup and salad our server came To inform us that there was only one ribeye left (which we had both ordered. It was also a Tuesday afternoon they should not have been out of any steak at this time) so I told the waitress I would have a TBone instead. When the steak arrived it was covered in some kind of orange colored seasoning that did not go at all flavor wise with the steak. Furthermore I couldn’t even cut through my steak with my knife because it was such a low quality cut of meat. The only thing done right is that it was cooked medium rare but it was such low quality meat I don’t even think it should have been cooked medium rare. I forced down two bites before decided to just give up on a good steak. But the baked potato was great. Can’t really mess that up though. On top of all the bad food that we received our server seemed as if she could care less about us. We had to flag her down for drink refills and she did not stop by once to ask us how the food was. So in the end I can confidently say that I will not be returning to this steak house.

Sitting at the counter on V Day. The first sip of my soda, diet coke, an unwanted lemon seed flushes in to my throat. OMG.

I’ve never had the food here but the Southern Comfort Cheesecake is 2 die 4. A little pricey but worth every penny!!! The slices are HUGE. Staff is friendly but a little slow. What’s the point of calling your order in if u still have to wait??

Co-hosted an IBM retirement dinner for a friend on June 24th at Simone’s. Our service was great, and everyone said they really liked the food. It was buffet style. The presentations was really well done and there was plenty to eat. We had a lovely room and the honoree was very pleased. There was a slight issue with the AC which is the only reason I’m not giving you all 5 stars. I will recommend Simone’s to friends and family in the future. Thank you Travis Henderson for working with us to make this a success.

The food is horrible, no flavor at all. We came there with a large party and nobody liked their food and we had different items from the menu. The food is very bland. The Service was awful. We waited 30 mins before they even acknowledged us, another 30 mins for drinks and bread, she took our order and then we waited about 45 mins to get the food only to be disappointed. The shrimp scampi was watery, the chicken had no flavor the “rice pilaf” was not rice pilaf. We was very dissatisfied with the food and service so everyone did not leave a tip. The manager and the waitress came back around after we all had paid demanding more tip money! I had already paid for bad service and a meal I did not enjoy, so tipping is optional and I have the right to refuse to tip if I please. I will NOT be returning! Very unprofessional!
