Many Jamaicans are here and haven’t had grassroots Jamaican foods since they leave Jamaica. FACING IT
OMG! THE BEST OXTAILS EVER! Oxtails were so fresh and tender. Meat falls off the bone and seasoned very well. I recently moved to Davenport and accidentally stumbled across this gold mine Simply Delicious. This is authentic Jamaican food I have been craving for months. Dennis was incredibly hospitality and pleasant. It’s rare you find great food and excellent customer service. I am pleased and I highly recommend this place 10 out of 10. I will be back as a loyal customer. Do yourself a favor and try the food. It is worth every penny.

This place is amazing. Not just delicious, but large portions. We had the jerk chicken, goat curry (both with the plantain), vegetable patty and spicy beef patty. Everything was perfectly seasoned and the plantains were a welcome sweet treat. Wish I had a place like this where I live.

We were in town on vacation. We went to several places and none can’t compare to Simpy Delicious Kitchen. Those 5 stars reviews are true. My wife is Jamaican and she’s a hard core food critic. When I say this man can cook, his food taste great and on point. He’s a nice and friendly guy.

WOW! If you are seeking AUTHENTIC Jamaican cuisine…this is it !! Dennis puts his heart and soul into the food and you can taste the love! (Another review said the owners name is Dylan, but I am certain he said his name was Dennis, if I am wrong – I apologies.) We lived in the Caribbean for 14 years and have a very deep love for the Islands. I have been craving AckeeSalt fish for weeks, when we discovered this food truck I was beyond thrilled. The dumplings, plantain and Ackee lived up to all my expectations. Need less to say, we ordered 1 of everything and it was ALLL delicious ! The pastry on the Patty’s is waaaay better than any we ever had in Jamaica/Cayman, these are soooo flaky and fresh. Cant wait to go back!
