Let me say at the outset that I have never liked salmon, though I have long wished I did because of the health benefits. It is typically just too fishy in smell and taste for me. Now, however, I have found salmon that is truly delicious. The caramelized, smoky taste is outstanding, and even the aroma is appealing. The owner, Mr. Sinclair, was very friendly and gracious. His store was pleasant and welcoming. We will happily be repeat customers! Even if you think you don’t like salmon, give this one a try.

The hickory smoked salmon delivers a super delicious buttery melt-in-your mouth deep flavor. I loved it! The order-ahead shop is closed for January but will reopen in February or March. Coop SR, the owner, made the experience easy. Since it was my first time he even gave a generous discount. He’s obviously passionate about smoked salmon sharing recipe suggestions and describing the cherry wood he uses for smoking. He suggests serving the salmon at room temperature. Worth it!

I’m from a small fishing town in southern Michigan. When I was growing up there was a fish shop right on the edge of Lake Michigan called Jensen’s Fishery. They always had the most delicious, fresh smoked fish you could find anywhere. I’ve always missed that place ever since I moved away more than 30 years ago; and I’ve been on a quest to find fresh smoked fish as delicious as what I remember as a kid. Well, finally . . . the search is over. Sinclair Smoked Salmon offers the most delicious, fresh smoked salmon available anywhere. You will search in vain to find anything better. He has it flown in fresh, so you’re never getting anything old or frozen. His unique brining and hot-smoking method produces the most amazing, tender, hickory smoked flavor. If you like smoked fish, you will love this product! And Cooper is always super friendly, super down to earth and a real pleasure to talk and do business with. I live in Salem, IN now, but it’s worth every second of the 45 minute drive down to Louisville to get this product. Get some of this fish! Don’t wait! You’ll be glad you did!

Absolutely love their smoked salmon. The owner is a super nice guy too. I think their smoked salmon is even better than Bortells in upper Michigan. We’ve purchased salmon here several times and it’s always perfect. Well worth the money!
