Sipipa (Sicily Pizza and Pasta) first opened in 1990 . The restaurant’s founder, Ben Broojeni, had played with the idea of opening his own restaurant while living in and touring Europe in his young adult years. His love for food and Italian kitchens led him to study for several years under great Italian chefs, perfecting the art of making pizza and pasta dishes. When he moved to the states it was no surprise that he opened his first restaurant. Today Sipipa has locations from Stafford to Spring and is wildly popular for its authentic and fresh foods.

The thing that caught my attention at first about this place were the umbrellas on the patio. I’ve really been in the whole “beach vibe” in the city lately. Second I was just about to take a picture for my blog and go but the owner came out and talked to me. I think that’s great service. Now the pizza: I ordered a customized 10″ chicken, spinach, and garlic pizza for $11. I am eating it right now and it is mouth watering! Just the right amount of crisp and fluff. I will be back to try the pasta next by the way, they deliver!

The only picture I took unfortunately but the pizza was amazing!!! Once we got home we put it in the oven and it was just perfect. Would definitely go back. Customer service could always improve but overall I was satisfied when I went and picked up the order. I order thru the phone but was skeptical since it was my first time here. Loved it! Geo was so welcoming and helpful in ordering. The meatball sub Danny made was perfect! Enough sauce for great flavor yet the bread was just crunch enough to hold and not be a mess! The little library and upbeat music kept us entertained for the short wait time. Will definitely be back.

We fed 20 homeless people including 3 Veterans Pizza and provided ice cold bottled water. Shout out to our friend Mr. Geo for his kindness during this event. PS if you love a good chicken Alfredo they have the absolute best I have ever tasted.
