Amazing fish and chips! The fish was steaming hot and flaky with crispy batter accompanied by great fries and a tasty, creamy coleslaw. It was a nice portion of fish. Bottled soft drinks are available for $3 but they let us BYOB.

Fish and chips were fantastic; Large was well worth the value. Clam chowder was also very good – not super thick. Coleslaw was also delightful. It’s mostly takeout with a few small tables – first come, first serve. Delightful!

Delicious fish and chips.. fish sandwich is just fried fish and bun.. no greens or sauces. Still tasted good with tartar. Fries are delicious too. Coleslaw tasted fresh as well.

Had their iconic fish & chips. The regular size portion was very filling and more than enough. The large size must be for really hearty appetites. Fish was very good, moist and flaky and had a puffy batter crust (I don’t like the coarse cornmeal type of crust so I really liked it). Prices are very reasonable, on the low end of average. Inside is small and spartan – only a few tables and you’ll have other customers standing over you when it’s busy. Overwhelmingly their business is takeout so customers are waiting for orders. This was my first visit. I will definitely return. Highly recommend.

We’ve visited twice this summer (so far) and are so happy to have found Sir Crickets. Large portions, quick and very friendly service. They use generous pieces of thick cod in their fish & chips with a wonderful crispy batter. The fish sandwich is also tasty. The hot dog was large and really geared more towards adults than a slim kids hot dog, so beware when ordering it for your kids. They have several small tables inside and one outdoor table but could benefit from another table outside. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Stopped in for lobster rolls. Service was friendly and prompt. Lobster roll was loaded with fresh lobster meat and no fillers. Delicious. Rivals my other favorite lobster roll at Young’s. Reasonable price. My wife had a fish sandwich that she enjoyed. Worth a visit if you’re in the Orleans area.

We ordered take out and drove 10 minutes down the road to the drive thru theater to enjoy. I was obviously expecting everything to be a little soggy since it’s fried food (we got the fish n chips) but soggy fries were the least of my worries. The fish batter was so thick it didn’t cook all the way through, it looked like raw pancake dough. I scraped off all the batter and just ate the fish, which was pretty good. I understand having a bad batch but both of the fish n chips we ordered were the same consistency and nearly inedible. My partner got the crab sandwich and had to unfortunately throw it away. And she HATES wasting food. She was crunching on shell bits every bite, it would have been better if the crab tasted decent as it was impossible to get through with all the factors. I hope they were just having an off night, we saw all the great reviews and were so excited to try because I love fish n chips, but man was that the worst fish n chips I’ve had. Spent almost $50 just to have to throw most of it in the trash. Very disappointing.

The seafood cakes are to die for! My cousin got them and they didn’t look like much but they taste amazing. Everyone loved them. I also had some yummy clam chowder and some clams with bellies which were really good. My cousin also got the scallops which were really good.
