Food wasn’t very good we got rib tips and pulled pork sandwich. The sandwich was flavorless but the rib tips were good coleslaw was good but nothing special and the mashed potatoes werent very good. BBQ sauce was average. The restaurant wasn’t open for seating so we sat on a picnic table which was set on uneven ground.

First, I’m a foodie and graduate of fox valley tech college culinary arts program. Seasoning salt is a fine choice, but it should be used to bring out the flavor. There is a balance. The rack of ribs were so salty we couldn’t eat them. Sorry we couldn’t give a better review.

Stopped in for a bite with the wife and was pleased to see the look of the place. We had Pulled Pork,Brisket and Burnt Ends and corn muffins Cornbread a little dry but that would be really my only complaint. Was sorry to see them run out of items.

We just had Sir Smoke A lot cater our wedding on May 6th of 2023 and they did a fantastic job!! I would highly recommend them to cater any event! We recieved so many compliments on the food and heard that just about everyone went up for seconds!! Thank you!!!

Decided to stop in for a quick dinner and were very impressed! Ordered the ribs, and since it was Sunday also ordered a pound of the burnt ends. The dry rub on the ribs was so exceptional that you wouldn’t even need a sauce… that being said their BBQ sauce was also a perfect blend of smoky and sweet, and ribs were thick and perfectly cooked. The burnt ends were flavorful and juicy with their own unique rub. We are from 2 hours away and would happily visit again; may even have them cater our rehearsal dinner (no joke, that good!!).

I was put in a hard spot when the catering for a wedding reception fell through. I asked friends and family for suggestions for a good rib place and everyone suggested Sir Smokes A lot. Even a retired pit master caterer recommended him. With less than a month before the reception Brian cheerfully took on the task of smoking baby back ribs and pulled pork for the party. People were raving, I mean RAVING at how good the ribs and pulled pork were. And they were right! The meat was done to perfection. And the coleslaw is fantastic too! With the great food and super nice staff/owner I would not hesitate to have any event catered by Sir Smokes A Lot. You won’t be disappointed.
