We travel 30-40 miles once a month to eat at your Ottawa location. We have never had a problem until last week. Prime rib was very dry, fish was very hard like it had sit for days. And several dishes had no flavor. Although the food was poor quality, the young man that was a manager did apologize and later gave us a complimentary meal. I will be back.

We were having a get together due to my father in law passing away. They were accomadating & very polite. Place was clean & the staff was friendly. If were ever in the Ottawa area again, we will definitely be eating there again. Thank you very much to the staff !

We came here, My husband, my son and I for dinner saw the great reviews. Paid $30 for just 2 of us cause my son isn’t of age to pay for his dinner yet. I got the Steak, potatoes and corn. All the meat my husband tried and I ate pieces and every single one was dry. Saw them put uncooked steak on the grill and it was half brown and half pink barely. This means the steak has been sitting out for atleast a couple days, I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. The food is dry, barely cooked all the way, this could.cause food poisoning and everything. The people were awful as far as service playing on their phones, and ignoring customers left and right. I really didn’t care for this place. The best thing I ate in there was the corn candy they had for the ice cream bar. The hot forge was coming out in chunks also and hard chunks like it has been sitting there all so day. Disgusting. I would give this 0 stars if I could. The Highway 58 resturant is amazing though I’d recommend going there instead.

I don’t usually leave reviews but felt the need to this time to keep everyone from making the choice of eating here. Well I see why they want your money upfront. Upon payment we asked about how we were supposed to get our drinks and the cashier never responded. So we commenced to get our own and at that time a manager came out of the doorway by the drink fountain. He rudely told me that usually the waiting staff will get your drinks for you. Also at that exact time another customer was trying to cut his own greasy brisket and the manager told him that they staff to handle that also whom was no where in site. We think he was I the back smokin dope with our waitress whom we never met. So we got our plates from the buffet of nasty food and sat down. A few minutes later a older lady came up and introduced herself and said she was taking over for the one we never met. Never saw a sirloin at all. The chocolate fountain was not working and the food was greasy or dry. Also in order to leave a tip without cash u have to rerun your credit card at the end of your meal. My tip for the waitress is to find a new job. I would left it on a note but didn’t have a writing tool. We believe that if u trained the waiting staff to cook and take pride in the job instead of refilling the beverages since people already get their own food it would be more successful. Also they rape u with the price for the terrible food and service. Wish I would have read the reviews before stopping here.should have went to longhorns, or Texas roadhouse……..

Excellent roast beef. The swat fish was very good. Steak was about average. The rest of the buffet was stock buffet food. Salad bar was a little lacking, though high marks for real Bacon bits. Go for the roast beef.

Not stockade anymore. Food on nights we were there is downhill. Mac&chsre was so soupy looked like frozen thawed in microwave. Runny like milk barely warm. Had to ask for hamb. Every meat was fish or chicken. Had veggies hush puppies cornuffins. Not feeling like we got our money’s worth

Very bad.The food was terrible chicken tasted like it had been cooked in week old burnt grease and cold it had a very bad odor to it right out of the kitchen. Had to send 4 plates back to kitchen because they were not washed clean.The waitress was very lazy and slow to get refills and this time probably will be the last tmie of eating there 60 dollars for a.family meal you exspect to have something good to eat .Has gotten worse the last three or four times that we have eaten there.

The food is presented as slop. The staff doesn’t care that you exist. The dessert bar is nasty. The cinnamon rolls are hard as rocks. The only thing good is the dinner rolls. And it’s over priced.
